LKG  -A - Physical Activity

The students were made to walk on the line and also were made to balance the tennikoit on their head and place the ball on top of it and jump. This activity helps the students in learning to listen to instructions given to them.

PRE-KG - ENGLISH

The students were encouraged to do the “bits pasting” activity on the alphabet “M” helping them to learn the alphabet in play way method.  This activity helps the children of #PRE-KG to develop the language and communication skills, cognitive skill and instill an interest in a range of preschool-level texts such as alphabet books, stories, poems.

PRE KG -  NUMBERS ACTIVITY

This #activity helps the students inculcate the love for numbers, develop number sense, make sets of objects that match a given numeral, make mathematical ideas “real” by using words, pictures, symbols, and objects and also develop cognitive skills

LKG-B ACTIVITY “Number Hopscotch” - Forward Counting The arrangement of the numbers one to twenty, makes the children build fundamental skills necessary for addition, such as remembering a number and then counting one by one to get to their answer and also allow them to understand the numbers and the patterns in a better way.

UKG- FIND MY PARTNER - CLUSTER

The students were given different clusters and they were asked to find their right #“cluster” partner.  This activity helps the students to get phonemic awareness and develop the language skills such as listening, reading, speaking and writing.

LKG B - PAPER BOAT CRAFT ACTIVITY

Paper Boat Craft - it helps students in developing eye- hand coordination and helps them to follow teacher’s instructions and make them to play sharing with their peers.

LKG-A - LONG AND SHORT ACTIVITY

This activity helps the children to identify the different sizes and objects around them which will enhance their problem solving, connections and reasoning skills

UKG ACTIVITY – CONCEPT OF ZERO This activity helps to introduce the concept of zero. It helps the students to understand that zero is nothing and has no value. PRE KG ACTIVITY - PALM PRINTING

The students of PRE KG enjoyed doing palm printing activity. Hand print art provides fine motor skills useful for handwriting in later years. As kids use their hand they are exploring the movement and coordination of reaching out for the paints and printing them at the spot. It also improves as well as stimulates eye-hand coordination and imagination powers.

PRE KG ACTIVITY - IDENTIFY THE COLOURS The activity enhances the students to learn and identify the colour of the object which develops the cognitive skill, fine motor skill and also eye hand coordination of the students.

The Leader In Me Activity

The students of Std I to V  enjoyed revising the 7 habits of  “The Leader In Me” programme which we have been following since 2018. They revised the 7 Habits by performing the cultural artistic traditional dance “Kolatam”. The Kolatam dance is the combination of rhythmic movements, songs, and music. This module presents a kinesthetic learning approach to demonstrate the dynamic nature of symmetry using "old-time" dancing.  Students created an enthusiastic and energetic vibe all throughout SMR Hall learning the 7 Habits.

PRE-KG – PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The students of Pre-kg  were encouraged to place the balls in their respective coloured rings. Regular physical activity helps to develop the child's fundamental movement skills. This activity can help in building healthy bones and muscles.

Std VII Science Activity - Identifying Acids, Bases and Neutral

By using indicators like litmus paper and turmeric students were able to identify the things, whether it is a Acid, Base or Neutral.

LKG B – MATH-BEFORE & AFTER NUMBER ACTIVITY

The students of LKG were given number cards and were instructed to stand in a correct sequence themselves. The students were made to understand and learn the concept of correct number sequence. This activity promotes the child’s Logical and Cognitive thinking skills.

Pre  - KG activity

 PRE KG students were introduced to tunnel play activity. This activity brings fun and keeps the student engaged on a work.  While crawling and scooting through the tunnel enchases them physically by developing  their motor skills, concentration and control the movements of their arms and legs.
