I actually make muse playlists and ship playlists on youtube, so I DEFINITELY love using music as inspiration! It tends to really be an eclectic mix of stuff, but orchestral soundtracks are always a good place to start. The more a piece can elicit emotions without using words, the better.

I’m not sure? I’ve written a gamut of types of characters, but I notice I really get attached to certain qualities. Then I get bored and take on the opposite of those archetypes to get out of my rut, normally. 

I have noticed that I tend not to write static characters or fanon portrayals that involve the muse being woobiefied/a helpless pure babby, tho.

I have a weird resistance to anesthesia. Every time I’ve had to be put under for a surgical procedure, I’ve woken up way earlier than I was supposed to and freaked out. The doctors always try to put me under again, but sometimes they have to stop and make a 2nd appointment to continue surgery- because they can only do so much before they start worrying I might not wake up.

The sheer fact that she had to look up to meet his gaze now made her laugh softly, though there was a certain quality to his expression (especially in the eyes) that didn’t match his words. 

Zack had always been an earnest and enthusiastic young man, but perhaps the passage of time had simply tempered his outward demeanor. There was still a deep inner passion that she could sense, if burning more quietly than before.

“Have you become the hero you set out to be?” she asked, curious to hear of what sorts of adventures he’d gotten into in the past decade.

It was difficult, at times, realizing just how much she had missed. The children she had met so many years ago now coming into their own as adults, taking greater responsibilities upon their shoulders. Aqua would be lying if she said it didn’t bother her when she was suddenly and pointedly reminded of the ten years that she’d been lost, but she tried not to dwell upon the past- if at all. 

She still had a place among the lives she’d forged connections with and that wouldn’t change.
