i depend on you
I hate you epitome of innocence being represented with blonde hair I hate you lightness representing goodness I hate you "angelic features" automatically being read as blonde hair and blue eyed with pale skin I hate you whiteness as the default for morality I HATE YOU I HATE YOU
Guess who's being the most annoying on this post
this post isnt about blondes and how its so unfair to them that theyre always viewed as good healthy holy morally upright outstanding people no matter what this post is about racism its about colorism its about white supremacy making people with dark features and skin literally feel evil. this is not about your stupid disney princesses or achilles or your fave anime boys being allowed to be unhinged feral shitty awful people and this sure as hell is not an opportunity for blonde people themselves to show their entire pasty flat asses and beg praise for "breaking the stereotype" by being shitty unhinged people. fandom people you are 192% of the problem. white people in general you are 1,000% the origin of the problem. this site is so unbearably white my GOD
AND IT FEELS LIKE– IT'S LIKE, AS IF LIKE SOMEBODY WAS GRIPPING MY THROAT AND SQUEEZING, AND I FEEL LIKE I'M BEING CHOKED, AND I CAN'T BREATHE, AND I SHAKE, AND I CONVULSE, AND SOMETIMES WHEN I'M TRYING TO SLEEP, AND I HAVE THESE, THESE WAKING, UH, DREAMS...
this sucks im going to kill (remembers suicide jokes are bad for my mental health) the president of the United States. (end statement)

Random thing for people to consider is that since Laika is the saint of one way trips should Felicette be known as the saint of safe landings since she did make it back to the ground safely
tu LANCES félicette ? tu lances son corps comme la fusée ? oh ! oh ! prison pour les scientifiques ! prison pour les scientifiques pendant Un Mille Ans !
Not to be a wet blanket or anything but I kinda hate the normalization of animal suffering that I see online. This cat was put through a terrifying, potentially fatal, and deeply traumatizing ordeal. She didn’t choose this or understand what was happening. This is an image of a strapped down, frightened animal that was put through something terrifying because it was considered expendable. This picture doesn’t make me laugh. It makes me sad.
And same for Laika. Except that one’s even worse because she died. A poor stray dog was grabbed off the street and used for experimentation that resulted in her being killed in a frightening and painful manner. Why are either of these things cute or funny??
oh by the way. Felicette - the cat in this picture - survived the terrifying ordeal she was put through but was then euthanized 2 months later so the scientists could cut her open and study the effects that space travel had on her body. Both she and Laika lived short miserable lives filled with fear and suffering.
#wokeness leaving a tumblr user's body when they have to defend an abused animal instead of a fictional character#these comments are all so fucking sadistic man wtf#“lol I bet she scratched everyone!” what the FUCK is wrong with you man via @stealcorpses83

Hope this is the last timeeeee cause I'd never say no to you
No it's not. Lol. If you think you need a service animal but your needs can be fulfilled by any other animal than a dog you don't need a service animal.
Service animal is a STRICT legal definition and it shall remain strict for a very good reason and it's because your desire to bring along a little guy that makes your anxiety better does not trump people with allergies, phobias, or hygienic needs of a place that doesn't allow animals.
Additionally, the only miniature(!) (as small as a dog!) horses that can be a service animals are seeing eye horses for the blind and horses that pull wheelchairs. That's it! Horses are not allowed to be psychiatric service animals, allergy alert animals, diabetes alert animals, seizure alert animals, cardiac alert animals. All of those things can only be fulfilled by a DOG, and you know why? Because a dog is the ONLY type of animal that can be
1) trained to obey commands 100% without fail
2) trained to completely ignore other animals, people, and obstacles and be focused 100% on their handler 100% of the time they've on duty
3) work consistently and perform tasks without treats or reinforcement (which are still used, but it's important for them to NOT expect a reward)
4) be outside, in cars, planes, other moving vehicles, inside unfamiliar buildings, at any time, with any amount of noise and distractions, and still fulfill requirements 1 and 2
5) not vocalize unless alerting in a specific way
And that's just the basics. Go on, try to make your cat do all three, in ADDITION to the tasks they require, and often can't perform (alerting, guiding, etc). I dare you. The absolute majority of service animals are trained by a facility from birth for a very good reason, and that is because a service animal is a hyper specific, highly demanding JOB (and dogs with such a job typically retire at around 6-8 years because it is INCREDIBLY taxing on their physical and mental health).
Your rabbits or cats helping you and alerting you at home is cute and all and they will qualify as ESA (because ESA are just any animal and has absolutely no other rights than you can't be allowed to deny housing for having it), but unless you use them as a medical device being deprived of which significantly deprived you of ability or puts you in danger, and unless they're trained to fullfil those 5 minimal requirements and also fullfil other tasks depending on your disability, they aren't a service animal. And no other animal but a dog (and often a specific breed of dog because temperamental differences between breeds exist, and even more often those dogs come from specific LINES of service dogs) can be trained to reliably act as a service animal in a large scale.
So no, cats can't be service animals. I had plenty of smart as shit cats, cats are wonderful, but they can't be service animals. Nor should they be.
