swallowing the first bone in one bite while keeping eye-contact with the human , eyes narrowing as they observed the form of a weapon though the moment the bone was launched they swooped down. catching the bone between their talons as they settled down on top of the crow’s nest.

CASTO LET OUT A LONG SIGH. He used his left hand to shake off the last remnants of the sharpnel off his vest, as his right one handed the crowbar to Steam.

❝ I have no desire to those irresponsible jerks. I’ll let the captain know of this incident after we’re done.❞ Oh, he would make sure that the incident didn’t go unnoticed by Kidd. And he was going to bring popcorn.

❝ Forgive me anyways for the extra work, but I called you in case there was maybe some component could be salvageable. ❞ Casto kneeled next to the rubble and his fingers dug into the metal scrap. ❝ Do you think you can make use of these pieces,Mel… I mean, Steam ? ❞

"Wonder what Captain would do to them?~” Steam grinned and started hacking at the melted scraps in the cannon, it seems like the interior is kinda clogged. Filing it down would solve it but it's old, and they are replacing them. Melting the whole cannon down will at least give her more materials to work it.

"Hey, I said it was no biggie. Besides, you are right. Resources are tight as per usual when we are sailing. Don't forget who you are talking to, of course, I can make use of those pieces.” She tossed the crowbar back into the toolbox and dusted off her pants with a couple of smacks to the thighs. "I am Steam. So who's Mel?” Attentively, not missing that slight mix up.

"Fine fine, it's no biggie.” She pats him on the back, reassuring him that this accident is nothing major. Steam sets down the toolbox and goes in to inspect what caused the damage.

"Some idiot left ammunition in there. So when you tried to move it, it triggered the explosion. Hand me that crowbar there, I'll need to dig out the remains.” Adding a mental note to have a very public yet generic scolding warning to the entire crew through loudspeakers later.

Seems like some people need a refresher on "Safety first”. And wasting precious ammunition? Come on now. The basics. She sure was steaming at this point. *bada tsss*
