It takes an ecosystem...

It takes a village an ecosystem to make #STEAMFWD happen. In addition to to the organizing partners from the NYC Department of Education’s iZone, Urban Arts Partnership & NY Tech Meetup, we are working with NYC-based nonprofits to plan workshops on wearables + sound design and to help facilitate creative projects led by YOU. This week we’re turning the spotlight on our ecosystem partners that are helping to making #STEAMFWD happen: 

Building Beats believes in using students' passion for music as a pathway for building entrepreneurial and life skills through DJ and music production workshops and programs. 

Stoked on STEAM strives to make science, technology, engineering, and math accessible to learners by integrating their practice seamlessly with art & design in a project-based setting. 

Blink Blink designs experiences for young girls to explore making and crafting with technology and art. Their Creative Circuit Kits provide the tools to engineer your own arts, crafts, and fashion technology.
