The satisfying cracking of joints. fireflies. dark eyes. stubble, two days old. hot tea and brandy, hot breakfast, cold dinner.

so im considering remaking my blog entirely. starting over instead of waiting around for my muse to come back, plus it gets rid of all the baggage im feeling over her. i mean i love you all, and there will be a link for the new blog, but I think it’s time to retire this one and start feeling better about Nemo and the world he comes from.

                      THOUGH THIS MAN HAD A BRASH WAY OF PUTTING IT, though Danse saw himself as an ABOMINATION, a looming threat with velleity to be human. He was still validated as so ( his body was the exhibit strength, his nature focused still on survival ). Though in truth, unlike others he never applied the egalitarian view of synths to even himself. This was his  d o w n f a l l . 

     “Synths are the exact replica of the atomic bomb,                     technology that’s gone too far,                     technology that has CONTORTED into a weapon of mass destruction,                                                                                                   a parasite of humanity.”

      He wasn’t one to compare himself to other things lurking in the wastelands it was the anonymity of a synth that disturbed him so, how enigmatic they were to common hunters of the Commonwealth. It was the automagical actions of the Institute that vexed him so. 

      “There’s no need, I understand your reference.               Its not my true nature that causes the current PREDICAMENT,                                       its the inability to live with it. ”

                                      ( to pretend to act human was such a tiring allude )

               His shirt is rebuttoned, his disability hidden once more, btu he doesn’t sit. He doesn’t tower of the other, the height difference in minimal at best, but he finds it odd how a man so large, built from years of training and armor usage can look so small, so unsure -- his hatred minimizes him, and Nemo frowns. 

 “ You’ve had everythin’ you’ve known ripped out from under your feet in such a short amount of time, an’ you think you’ve come t’ terms with it, but this is only th’ beginning.              Do you feel different? Physically, is anything different than it was before? Have your preferences remained intact? Is there a sudden urge to do the bidding of slave masters that hide away and frighten the good people of Boston?              It will take time, should you continue on, Paladin.               There is no shame in it now, not among similar company, and certainly not around me. You’re a synth, not a weapon, and you belong only to yourself-- what you choose to do with that is your own decision, because you have the choice to make them”

          He might have spoken of apologies, trivial ‘manners’ stuff, but the paladin zeroed so fully in on the one part of his statement she hardly heard the rest, eyeing him like a hunting dog that had just noticed a very tall rabbit.

A tall rabbit indeed, his whole body trembles like long grass, like a wispy branch-- he swallows hard, he keeps a grip on his glorified metal toothpick.             Long shadows, you wait for long shadows and strike them while they’re blind.
