I was craving some menacing badie Steve because we didn't get enough of that. Think he just ended up looking like he's about to take his last breath though, whoopsie
YEARS WITHOUT THEM AND HERE WE ARE. LOOK AT THESE TWO. THEY ARE SOULMATES
Post credits scenes I pinky promise
Ronance in the epilogue will be the death of me.
Eddie being the first one Robin confides in about dating Nancy because she’s nervous to tell Steve. Except she doesn’t know that Steddie are together and now Eddie’s in a PICKLE
I will say….the epilogue ABSOLUTELY inspired some ronance stirrings in my head
MAX MAYFIELD & LUCAS SINCLAIR Stranger Things: 'The Rightside Up'
I liked it!
Wonderful week to never have been into byler :)
STRANGER THINGS (2016 - 2025) Season 5 | Episode 7 "The Bridge"
Lucas standing up to Andy to defend Dustin, Lucas jumping over the table to get to Will, Lucas visiting Max and not giving up on her, Lucas staying with Mike and Nacy after the attack to their family, Lucas... and I am supposed to believe he's not the heart of the group?
STRANGER THINGS 3.08 "The Battle of Starcourt" | 5.04 "Sorcerer"
Thinking about the fact that El literally couldn’t visit Max in the hospital ONCE over 18 MONTHS. (With how she’s had to avoid the military 24/7 there’s no way she was waltzing into that place and hanging out by Max’s bedside)
Like?? Not getting to visit her after blaming herself for failing to save her and then seeing her die in Lucas’ arms where she could only watch from her void?
Yeah, she managed to bring Max back, but she must feel awful inside for what happened (even though it is NOT her fault)
Her worry for Max is definitely a driving force for how much she’s been training in s5, I just wish we got to see that more explicitly
It’s just so heartbreaking to me that her best friend in the world is impossible to reach. Even with her void, which El relies on so heavily to deal with the problems she faces. And now she can’t even do that.
Max just had such a profound impact on El’s sense of self and helped build her agency. Even more than that, she was the first character we ever really saw El have fun with. They mean so much to each other I neeeeed them to explore how much El misses her + cares about her, and how much of an effect that’s been having on her. I just wish we got a scene of Lucas and El bonding over how much they care about Max (desperately need them to interact for once). Just imagine them meeting so El could ask all about Max and what Lucas likes to talk to her about, how she’s been looking, how he’s been feeling. (Ough and maybe she could ask Will to draw Max for her so she could feel like she has a piece of her again) Plus it’s actually been even longer since El and Max actually got to talk!!!! I don’t think we ever get any indication that they sent letters to each other in s4, so season 3 was the last time they really got to spend time together. Like imagine being El feeling so alone in California, barely able to handle the constant bullying, feeling her relationship with Mike crumbling, and having just lost her powers (which she definitely defined herself by and had no idea how to exist without them). And on top of all of that when she finally gets to come home it’s after her greatest loss? Devastating. Someone save my fucking daughter.
Dustin is deliberately self-sabotaging. He’s not being mean to Steve bc he hates him. He’s being mean to Steve bc he hates himself and he wants Steve to hate him too. He’s being a total asshole and he should apologize but apologizing would defeat the purpose of his plan. He doesn’t want Steve to sacrifice himself for him like Eddie did - Dustin doesn’t want his life to be worth that much to Steve. He’s trying to make sure Steve doesn’t care about him anymore. That way he won’t want to die for him and he won’t care if Dustin decides to do a little self-sacrifice himself
I miss peak steddie era so much
