the lead singer of motion city soundtrack has ocd and he writes about his symptoms and imo writes some of the most relatable lyrics regarding it and even when it’s not intentional I think it still shows up in all of his songs. Even his songs about overthinking relationships until there’s nothing left of them. Big Relationship-OCD moments.

But anyway my favorite song he wrote about experiencing neuroses and unhealthy coping mechanisms is ‘Disappear.’

I really love the repetition of being with the thing “‘til the end.” truly the most song of all time if you’re feeling genuinely and medically insane from OCD
