Thank you so much for all your wonderful contributions to the Final Fantasy Tactics fandom! The characters look so wonderful in your style.
Out of curiosity, what led you to ship Ramza and Mustadio together?
Thank you! It's a fun challenge to add my touch to the game's distinct style.
As for Ramza and Mustadio - mainly due to the dialogues in the TIC version of the game. Especially the one in the Outlying Church battle where Mustadio worries about Ramza's feelings being hurt (link for ref.). There are hints of them being close in the other dialogues, like Mustadio making Ramza laugh with his comment about Marach, or Alma mentioning Ramza wrote to her about Mustadio in a letter.
Admittedly, the game doesn't have many dialogues between the party members, but overall, Ramza only has those friendly, casual interactions with Mustadio.
I also see it as a healthy "happy end" ship for Ramza. The whole game is about class war and problematic families. Characters are constantly calling each other out for their backgrounds, many are leaving their painful past lives behind, the relationships are complicated. And then there's Mustadio who disregards status and addresses everyone in an equally friendly way. He has no problematic past or troublesome family. He has a home and a job he could go back to any time, and yet he chooses to follow Ramza simply because "you saved my life and I like you." I imagine it must be really comforting for Ramza to have someone like this by his side.
