Disregard earlier video PLEASE PLEASE look at this instead. This is a Yellow Garden Spider (Argiope aurantia) exhibiting a behavior I’d seen before in cellar spiders, but never in orb weavers, let alone one her size.

This is called web flexing. It’s done to ward off predators or shake water droplets from a web. more importantly, it looks silly as hell, and also kinda like she’s throwing it back,
