He paused for a second to consider his next move.

Then took off like a rocket!

There are people reading this who have days when the weight of their burdens feels impossible to lift.

In the 68 years of my life, I’ve had some days like that…

…so I know how it feels.

What I’ve learned - slowly, and not always gracefully - is that peace doesn’t arrive when everything is fixed.

It arrives when you stop fighting what is, and let God find you.

Sometimes the reminders we need show up unexpectedly.

Tucked away in our backyard, this Carolina Wren nest is holding three eggs.

New life... delicate, protected, and full of promise.

And a mother bird faithfully watching over them.

The circle of life is extraordinary when you stop long enough to notice.

Moments like this remind me that God's creation still whispers peace, renewal, and hope all around us.
