steffy loves... Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2017

I recently had the pleasure of attending one of the shows of the 2017 strictly come dancing tour and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised. The show, being renowned for a favourite with the oldies was a Christmas pressies for my step mum. I had come to the conclusion that i would look to enjoy it the best i could - even if that only meant enjoying the music and obviously some of the ‘eye candy’ (i hate that phrase, so cliche and definitely not the kind of thing i would say). 

Not only was it quite exciting, but experiencing something different in an arena other than the usual gigs and theatrical shows was a new and welcome event. I am aiming this year to take advantage of opportunities that arise for experiences that i would not usually choose for myself and so hopefully this is the first of many.

Highly recommended - go see....

steffy loves... homemade presents

Last year (2016) i was given one of the best presents ever and what made it that was the fact that it was homemade. My sister had put together a recipe jar with all the required ingredients to make homemade cookies.

This is a brilliant idea - the thought and effort put into it makes it better than any other present. Keep an eye out for my next posts - pictures!!!

steffy loves... Close to the Enemy

Close to the Enemy was a drama aired on BBC throughout December based after the 2nd world war showing the destruction it created both physically and mentally.

I was totally absorbed by this excellent series!!! Hurrah for the sense of patriotism it lit in myself.

It is truely one of my most proud reccommendations showing that i can watch accurate, thought-provoking and educational programmes.

I also highly valued its ability to allow me to talk freeing and correctly to others in the workplace who have very intellectual prowess - Yay.. go me!!

Hi guys… huh wait - this is my first post and no audience so i guess i’m talking to myself. Well for anyone who does eventually read this, i’m 27, live on my own, independent professional who hopes to use this platform to share thoughts, questions, understanding and hopefully likes and loves of all sorts of things.

Starting with a mixture of two of my favourite past times… reading and history. I am in the process of reading a Phillippa Gregory novel ‘The King’s Curse’. Since learning of Henry VIII i have a new found (about 9years so not very new) love of all things Tudors. I don’t know what intrigues me the most about this era in history but i am fascinated!!!

As i am not finished with this book - i will not bore you with a half -hearted attempt to review and evaluate its strengths and weaknesses but thought that it was a good introduction to understanding about me. It also opens up the conversation to you guys out there… so if any likeminded people are out there… holler at me!!! Haha no don’t really (i don’t know why i used that word it is definitely not me) just let me know!
