I agree completely. Itād be worth a shot just to be able to get rid of the hag. I bet between the two of us we could come up with a plan to help her change her mind about taking the job.Ā
Of course, if we canāt come up with something to get rid of her then Iāll have to say that Iām ashamed of our talents and need to try again with a little more gusto.
Things are definitely different here.
Things change. Thatās what happens when time passes.
Vanessa looked at Stella with a mixture of confusion as she looked over the injured witch. Was she here to admire her handiwork? To gloat? To finish her off? No matter what reason Vanessa thought of, it wasnāt good that Stella was here. She furrowed her brow at the woman when she asked a question to the healer and watched the worker put on their sympathetic face again.Ā āSheāll be alright.ā he confirmed gently.Ā āWeāll be able to heal most of the damage, but her attacker targeted her voice. She wonāt be able to speak again.ā he said sadly, setting a hand on the blondeās shoulder. Vanessaās eyes widened and she pointed to Stella and back at herself, then at her neck. Her movements were frantic as she tried to explain to the healer that thisĀ was who had done this, but she couldnāt get her message across.
Stella touched Vanessaās hand with a gentle grasp.Ā āThis is such a tragedy. I couldnāt image what would have happened if I havenāt found you when I did.ā She acted as if she were so proud that she had saved the girl and like they had some beyond physical connection that made them close friends in that moment in front of the nurse.Ā āIām so happy youāll be almost back to normal again.ā She squeezed her hand tightly and kept her eyes focused on Vanessaās face as she tried desperately to rat her out.Ā āI know, I found you when it all happened. Maybe if this healer does a great job she can bring your voice back. Wouldnāt that be great?ā She asked with a voice that could only be described as sickeningly sweet from the perspective of the victim.Ā
I agree completely. Itād be worth a shot just to be able to get rid of the hag. I bet between the two of us we could come up with a plan to help her change her mind about taking the job.Ā
With riots and something awful happening to her we could probably drive her out of here. Flooding her office or blowing it up could work.
Ah. That head of yours seems ticked with plans. Do share it with me, darling. Iāll see what I can do.
These aurors are getting in all our stuff and in the way and making things just harder to function. I donāt see any point in any of this. Why would the brotherhood attack the same place?
