Reed, ASD Dragon

(my old version of this got nuked with my tumblr so I'm remaking it) Awhile back someone made a comment about how Reed's tail swishing looks like a stim-

-And it got me thinking, are there other autistic behaviours we see from everyone's favourite Irish Dragon? Well, Reed apparently doesn't like being spoken to if they're not prepared for it.

Maybe just personal experience but myself and most autistic people I know don't really like being put on the spot.

Reed also takes... a lot of pauses in their speaking, maybe they're shy, maybe they have a hard time figuring out the right words? (Or both?)

Reed's tap animation is a very violent looking flinch coupled with a high pitched yelp-

-and in their future alter form, where Reed seems much happier and sure of themselves, what do they do when tapped?

SWISHES THE TAIL- it is a stim! It has to be! Compare how gracefully Reed swishes here to how jerky the wiggles are in the above example?

And I'm just tooting my own horn at this point, but, we know autistic people exist in canon in Arknights, the Doctor is heavily implied to be autistic, so even if it wasn't the intention of the writers to do the same with Reed, it sure as heck feels that way.
