Serving Temperatures (You’re doing it all wrong)

White wine gets served straight from the fridge and red wine gets served at room temperature right?

If you’ve been following this common rule, you’ve been doing it all wrong

Too cold and much of the flavor is lost, too hot and all you taste is the alcohol.

There are some exceptions, but as a general rule, white wines should be served between 50-55 degrees.  Cool on the palate, refreshing, but still warm enough to allow subtle flavors through.

For reds, its cellar temperature you’re after, not room temperature around 65 degrees.
