While July 13 is not Houston’s birthday, it’s Houston’s unofficial holiday that celebrates the Bayou City.

For those not from Houston, let us educate you a little bit.

First, 713 Day IS NOT Houston's birthday. The numbers 7-1-3 are actually the city's very first area code. It was established in 1947 and was Houston's only area code until 1996. The 713 Day holiday hasn't always been a thing. In fact, it's only been celebrated in recent years.

But hey, any reason to party is a good thing, right? Party on, H-Town! 🥳🎉

Hi everyone, say hello to Tina and Milo! The #WinterOlympics and #Paralympics mascots, two cheerful stoat siblings, are named after the Italian cities of Cortina d'Ampezzo and Milan. I ordered them from the Olympic website 4 months ago, and they finally arrived. They are so adorable and cute! I love them both so much! 🇮🇹💞
