someone stole my beloved block of ice and left behind a slick, cold puddle as a calling card. count your days soggy bandit
LMFAO
Someone said they initially thought Our Unwritten Seoul would be like a Korean Parent Trap because the concept is so cheesy, but I think that's what makes it so brilliant. Twins switching lives promises a lot of 'hijinks ensue.' But it's incredibly emotional. The story is deceptively simple; a raw and vivid script about what truly matters in life. Really the beauty of it is how Miji and Mirae, who know each other better than anyone else, live as each other and discover a lot of things about their individual selves. They're both healing from deep wounds, learning to trust and love themselves.
I've seen so many people praising Bo Young, saying that it feels like two actresses (she cloned herself btw) and this is one of her best performances. The twins feel so distinct from one another, she embodied their personalities, mannerisms and quirks so completely. To be that absorbed in a single role is impressive but double that. I will say it again, she deserves all the awards.
also highly gratifying to see the enthusiastic response despite tvn's bare minimum promo
ahem ☝️🤓 sejin was always getting mirae's name wrong because he probably knew deep down that she wasn't what he saw on the application form and so she was never miji to him. and then everything just silently clicked into place after the dinner and he knew immediately that she was mirae. she didn't even have to tell him. he probably also figured out that everything mirae-as-miji said about her sister was actually about herself. sejin let's get married hosu too i have two hands
i really hope hosu sees how much his mum supports him.. i broke down crying when she said "he's my son"... they're both similar aren't they? she knows the same type of loneliness he experiences, she doesn't want to burden him and he doesn't want to burden her... but they both love and need each other

Ho-su. I don't want to lie to you. The truth is, I'm Mi… No, stop. Don't say it. No. Don't. But I feel uneasy.

i got this photo with gus from breaking bad and the conversation went like this
me: “hey can you pretend this banana I found outside is a gun?” him: “it is a gun” me: “shit you’re a good actor”
My coworker and I spent an entire lunch break discussing how they have ruined every single character on Grey's Anatomy by dragging them through plots for 1 billion seasons and 2 crossover shows or bungling their exits and then I see people begging for Season 2s of Kdramas on Tumblr.com and I'm like, "No. Never. Kill this sentiment with fire." Not that I'm in charge but why does anyone even want that? I switched to Kdramas specifically to escape from this sort of misery.
That drama was so good because the creators knew they only had to make one. If they make more it will inevitably get worse. Haven't we learned? Why do you wish this horror upon us?
It was good. It was unique. It's done. It actually had a conclusive ending instead of a cliffhanger that might never be resolved if it's cancelled. Rewatch it or read some fan fiction. Let things be done.
Hello to my dead blog!! Spent the last few months studying, napping, hanging out with my cat and (as always) watching way too much TV
I don't go outside at night but yesterday I did (when I had to go search for my brother) and I realised I don't appreciate how beautiful the stars in the night sky are. So. Gonna look at them more often now. Today is the shortest day of the year! Its already getting dark here at 15:48...
