I feel like writing another fic. I had an idea and beginning for a long af dad!yoongi fic but there is no ending and i have no idea where its going/how its ending. Should i just start writing/posting and hope for the best?

Note: Welcome to the third and final part of this trilogy. I realized while writing this that while it may have taken me a really long time, this whole thing is not very long lol. But this is it. After this, we leave the world of Jaerin and Yoongi for good. Thanks for being on this journey.
Ok if you've been following this fic u know what i'm about to say is absurd and that is now that im done i feel listless and want to start writing a new fic. U know this is deeply silly bc it took me SO LONG to write the last short pieces of this fic like i dont need to do that again. Like watch me take 3 years to write 20k lmao
The fact that bts are so obsessed with each other drives me insane. Bc like ya its cute and lovely and all that. But its like also THE secret. Its why they are the biggest boy band EVER. and its why all the attempts to replicate them haven't worked. Not even in like a parasocial way, but audiences can tell that they fr fr love each other and enjoy being around each other and are friends outside the group. And its like the perfect storm. Bc honestly as a person in my 30s, there is no greater fantasy bts can represent for me than being 30 and having a 7 person friend group that hangs out all the time. All celebrities represent a fantasy. But bts represent a boyfriend fantasy, a friend group fantasy, family fantasy, all rolled into one.
Its the secret sauce yall. And until they find another group of people that actually seem like SOULMATE level friends. There will not be another bts
Tbh not much to put in this mood board... you'll see, this is the best i could do. I random selection of 3 yoongi pics i enjoy

Yoongi stopped in front of the exit to the main arrivals area of Incheon airport. He could already hear the crowd of photographers on the other side. Then screams and yells as Namjoon, then Jimin, then Taehyung, Hoseok, Jungkook, and finally Seokjin walked through. He was the last one left. He turned to face her, taking his mask off and stuffing it into his pocket.
“Are you ready?” he asked Jaerin. She nodded.
“Ready as I’ll ever be,” she said.

BREAKING NEWS: BTS’S MIN YOONGI DEBUTS UNEXPECTED MARRIAGE TO LEE JAERIN
BTS’s Min Yoongi, AKA SUGA, all smiles as he is photographed at Incheon Airport hand in hand with rapper Lee Jaerin, AKA RINA, this past Saturday upon BTS’s return to Korea after the Southeast Asia leg of their world tour.
The couple were seen departing the airport together wearing matching gold bands on their left hands. The Korean Herald reached out to representatives for both artists for confirmation that the two Daegu-born rappers are married to each other, but have not gotten a response yet at the time of publication. SUGA was seen two nights earlier on stage in Jakarta without a ring.
SUGA and RINA were first spotted together in 2017. Representatives for both artists at the time confirmed the pair to be friends and pictures emerged of them together as children, confirming that the friendship goes back to at least 2006, when they would have been 13. Recently, the pair have been spotted together across South America and Southeast Asia, causing speculation that RINA has been with SUGA on tour since October. RINA was also spotted at the last Korean show in Busan earlier this year looking friendly with the idol’s parents, brother, and sister-in-law.
SUGA has never been publicly confirmed to be in a relationship before this, though he has been rumoured to be connected to multiple different women, including RINA, over the course of his 13 year career. RINA was known to be dating Gentle Monster designer, Kwon Heeyeol, until November last year when all photographs of the couple disappeared from her Instagram page. The couple had been together for three years and shared a home in Seongsu.
The discovery of SUGA’s marriage comes months after the public announcement that fellow BTS member, Kim Seokjin, AKA Jin, has been married for over a year. The identity of Jin’s wife has not been released to the public.
Netizens are already speculating that SUGA and RINA tied the knot earlier this month as the BTS rapper and several of his family members were photographed heading to exclusive luxury resort, Bawah Reserve, earlier this month. The resort is known for their lavish amenities and strict privacy rules, making it a favourite for high profile people.

Note: The end!! Forever!! This is it!! All done!!
Thank you to everyone who read, liked, reblogged, and commented on this fic. I truly appreciate it. I'm not terribly popular or anything, so trust me when I say, I notice every single interaction.
I am now done with Yoongi and Jaerin. They lived happily ever after and either had 1000 kids or 0 kids depending on how you want to define this happily ever after. Personally, I have zero thoughts on what they do next. But if you have thoughts, feel free to let me know.
I'm not sure that I'll write more fic. I have another fairly fleshed out idea, but it's on a topic fairly close to me, so I'm not sure I want to share something like that lol
Anyway, I will be seeing my husband min yoongi soon and if i survive that, we'll see about new fics lol
Guys, I lost the previous mini moodboards I made so this one has the wrong preset edits and it is annoying me so much!!!

June 2026
Jaerin walked into the stadium alone only a few minutes before the show was set to begin. Yoongi had left their hotel room hours earlier, leaving her to an afternoon of lounging around the hotel pool in the early summer light. She had dinner in their room, a bibimbap delivered up and a glass of white wine to calm her nerves just a little bit.
She followed a staff member inside, through secret back passages of the stadium away from the tens of thousands of people already packed inside. She didn’t bump into anyone else on her way up, just empty hallways and the sound of thousands of fans behind the concrete walls. It was a big deal, this concert. A return to Korea, and her, after a few months away, and a special anniversary for the band celebrated on home turf. And for her, it would be her first.
Jaerin arrived in the VIP box. It was already full of friends and family and other special guests. It was away from the rest of the concert-goers, but visible. Visible to anyone who looked back to find it. And people always did. She knew there would be at least a few who had a zoom lens trained on the box, there always was. Her image would be circulated. Her every move documented and disseminated. In that box, she was as much on stage as they were.
“Jaerin-ie!” a voice called to her. She looked up to see a familiar face hurrying towards her, a woman she didn’t know trailing behind him. Min Seunggi beamed at her, as if it hadn’t been so many years since she last saw him.
“Yerin-ah,” he said to his wife. “This is Jaerin, my little sister. Well Yoongi’s girlfriend, but she was my little sister first.”
“It’s good to see you. It’s been too long,” she smiled at him. “It’s nice to meet you, Yerin-nim,” she said with a small bow.
“Well it wouldn’t be quite so many years if someone didn’t adamantly avoid Daegu,” he nudged her gently. “Mom and dad miss you.”
“I miss them,” she admitted. She could see them coming her away behind Seunggi and Yerin. Their parents. Yoongi’s parents. They smiled at her. Before she knew it, Mrs. Min engulfed her in a tight hug.
“My dear,” she said when she let her go. “You’re getting too thin. Do they not feed you in Seoul?”
Mrs. Min cupped her cheeks in both hands.
Jaerin let the older woman hold her, allowing herself to melt into the same maternal touch she’d known almost her entire life. It was as if it hadn’t been nearly eight years since she’d seen this family who were once her family.
“Eomma,” Jaerin protested. “Yoongi doesn’t cook as well as you do.”
“A shame,” she shook her head. She dropped her hands from Jaerin’s cheeks, but still intertwined their hands together. Jaerin squeezed Mrs. Min’s hand.
She’d visited their new home in Daegu years ago when she and Yoongi had begun dating the first time. Back then, he’d only just started making real money. He’d only just had enough to buy them an apartment. These days, Mr. and Mrs. Min managed Yoongi’s real estate empire. They had softened and relaxed in a way she’d never seen before. In a way that their poverty of their younger years never allowed for. They’d found a level of comfort that hadn’t yet become second nature in those early years of BTS’s stratospheric success.
Now, Mrs. Min radiated money. She wore expensive clothes. Carried a limited edition handbag. She didn’t toil in a restaurant anymore. She and Mr. Min didn’t fight about money anymore. Didn’t resign themselves to a life of work until the day they died. Yoongi had done that. And he’d done it for not just his parents. His brother. His niece had a trust fund. His one set of living grandparents lived beside Korea’s best private hospital. Aunts and uncles and cousins all set up with properties and trusts and investments.
He made capital investments in their old neighbourhood. Not just the shelter. He gave businesses interest-free loans. He used his celebrity to bring crowds into Daegu’s forgotten neighbourhoods, while pushing the municipal government to keep it affordable.
Jaerin had vowed to help him. She continued to lend her own voice to helping other sex workers. Women who had been left behind like she had been. She gave her money to programs for girls. But, if she was honest, without him, she wouldn’t have done it. Without him, she would have rather forgotten that their piece of Daegu had ever existed.
“Will you come home for Chuseok?” Mrs. Min asked her as they sat down in the stiff stadium seats.
“Of course,” Jaerin said. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see fans in the seats in front of them watching her and Yoongi’s mother.
“You can visit us anytime,” she said. “Even while he’s away. Especially while he’s away.”
Jaerin nodded. “I will,” she promised them.
“And you’re safe, right?” Mr. Min asked her. “In your apartment alone? Does your home have enough security? You should stay at Yoongi’s place while he is away. Very state of the art there.”
“I’ll be okay,” she chuckled. “I mean, I might not be in Seoul the whole time.”
“Oh?”
Jaerin didn’t continue. The stadium darkened.

October 2026
“See you tomorrow,” Yoongi said goodnight to Namjoon as he continued down the hallway to his own hotel room. In the morning, they’d do a rehearsal, then soundcheck, then kick off the South American leg of the tour with the first of two shows in Bogota.
Yoongi swiped his card on the door and pushed inside, intending to pass out.
Instead, the lights were already on, a hot meal waiting for him on the table, a glass of whiskey already poured.
“Surprise.”
Jaerin stood in front of him, a red sundress clinging to her.
He pushed the door shut behind him and took two long steps towards her, scooping her up into his arms tightly. Yoongi breathed in her scent, burying his face into her hair. It hadn’t actually been all that long. Just a few days in reality. But he hadn’t expected to see her for another day. She was meant to be in Tokyo finishing a recording session before meeting him.
“I finished early. Thought I’d surprise you,” she smiled. As Yoongi let her go, Jaerin pointed at a suitcase open on the floor. Japanese and Korean snacks spilled out of it. “I loaded up,” she said.
“I love you,” he smiled.
“Come on,” she said. “You should eat.”
“Later,” he mumbled. Yoongi put his hands on her waist again, his eyes roaming down her body, before landing back on her lips. He pushed her backwards, step by step until her knees hit up against the bed.
He pressed down hard, his lips on hers. Jaerin’s hands went up into his hair as he pulled the straps down on her dress. She fell back onto the bed, crawling back as he followed her, pulling her dress down and off.
Her bare skin shone in the dim evening lights. Honey tanned and warm in the Colombian heat. Yoongi’s hands and lips traced down from her lips, down her neck and collarbones. Her chest heaved as he pulled her sensitive breasts into his mouth, biting down softly.
“I missed you,” Jaerin moaned breathlessly.
“I missed you more.”
-
Yoongi had fallen asleep on the bus ride up despite Jaerin and Namjoon’s constant chattering beside him. It was as if they weren’t even there for him. Sound asleep as soon as they took off from the hotel in Lima. Jaerin had told him it was okay if he didn’t want to join. She’d do the Inca culture tour on her own. But then Namjoon heard about it and wanted in. Sura did too. So of course Seokjin came along. And before he knew it, they had become a tour group of 9 headed together on a day trip around Lima’s ancient sites. Only Jungkook and Taehyung elected to stay behind for a day on Lima’s beaches.
Jaerin shook him awake as they arrived at their first spot, an archeological site of yellow adobe buildings with women in colourful skirts wandering between them. It was early, before the crowds had come in. They were to take breakfast outside and walk the site with llamas. Jaerin was particularly excited about the llamas.
Yoongi spent most of his day watching her. Watching her listen to their guide intently. Watching her, squeal as she pet her first, fluffy brown llama.
“He kind of looks like you,” she teased, pointing at a snowy white llama, chewing with his whole face. Still, he allowed Jaerin to cajole him into taking a photo next to the animal, to Jimin and Hoseok’s absolute delight.
An hour later, they loaded back up into the bus to be shuttled to the next site which promised an artisan market. Yoongi followed Jaerin around, carrying Inca ceramics and Andean textiles.
“Ah!” she cried. Jaerin picked up a woolly stuffed llama. All creamy white.
“We have to get this,” she said to him. “I’ll name him Suga. I’m going to get one for your mom too.”
“How do you plan to bring all this stuff back to Seoul?” he asked her, his arms full of shopping bags. Nevermind the shopping she already acquired in Bogota.
“I’m sending a few packages ahead,” she admitted. “Nothing crazy.”
“We’re only two stops in.”
“Oh shush,” she waved away his concerns as the shopkeeper packed up her two stuffed llamas. “You have plenty of space at home.”
“You don’t,” he chuckled, thinking of her apartment already filled with her knickknacks and clutter.
“That’s what your apartment is for,” she said. “Oh, except for the dining table I bought in Bogota. That’s staying with me.”
“The… the what?”
“Oh I didn’t mention. I met the most incredible woodworker. He’s sending me a table. It’ll be a few months and then it’ll come by boat, but we’ll have it soon enough.”
“Do you intend to completely redo your apartment from South America?”
“It’s just a couple things. And you know, Namjoon-ie’s got me into this art thing. I’m going to a studio with him tomorrow. I want to get into sculpture.”
“Ah, this is the beginning of the end. If Namjoon’s roped you in.”
“He invited me to see his exhibition in San Francisco when he head back to Seoul at the end of all this. You’ll come won’t you? You should be supportive.”
“Well, if you’re going, I guess I am,” he said. Yoongi took the shopping bag with the llamas without a word, freeing her hands for more shopping.
“Will we be leaving with a sculpture from San Francisco too?”
“Maybe,” she shrugged. Jaerin wrapped her arm around his. “Just a few souvenirs! Oh look at this…”
-
Santiago was cold as Jaerin and Yoongi left the bar in the early hours of the morning. It wasn’t quite dawn yet, but it would be soon. Yoongi slipped his jacket off his shoulders and wrapped it around Jaerin’s shoulders. He had an arm wrapped around her as they hurried quickly into the waiting black car.
Flash.
Flash.
Flash.
Cameras went off around them. Paparazzi and cell phones. They’d been tipped off. Tipped off that the unassuming Asian man was indeed a big, big payday. Security held an arm up ahead of Yoongi and he held an arm over Jaerin’s face. They’d already been spotted together in South America. Once in Bogota, and her alone in Lima. And of course, everyone had seen her cozy with his family at the concert in Busan.
But this was different.
This would be 4K photos of them leaving a club together at four in the morning. A 4K photo of a cigarette hanging out of her mouth and a tight leather dress riding up her thigh. Or at least, that’s what they’d point out back in the tabloids at home.
They’d gone to this club because cameras weren’t allowed inside. Exclusive. Private. Secluded. That’s what this place had been sold to them as. A place where Latin America’s bright and famous partied discretely. Yoongi had convinced her to come out. A night in a steamy Santiago nightclub. Her body on his. No one would be watching.
It felt like a lifetime before they made it into the dark safety of the car. Yoongi helped Jaerin inside first, blocking the cameras with his jacket as she climbed into the car. The sounds of yelling muffled as the door shut behind him.
Yoongi could hear Jaerin’s heavy breathing.
“You’re okay,” he said, pulling her into a tight embrace. Her chest heaved into his, straining against the tight dress. Up and down. Up and down.
“It’s going to be okay,” he whispered. Yoongi petted her hair.
“You’re going to be okay,” he said. “I’ll protect you. We can get you a flight out of here. Somewhere actually private. We’ll send for Hyorin and Soojung.”
“No,” Jaerin shook her head as she peeled herself off Yoongi’s chest. She took a few deep breaths and shook her head again. “No,” she said. “It’s okay. I’m okay.”
“You sure?”
She nodded. “So what. They saw us. People have been seeing us together for months.”
“It’s okay if you’re scared.”
“No,” she shook her head again. “It was just.. Just a physical response. I’m fine. I’ll be fine.”
“Jaerin-ie…”
“Really,” she insisted. “K-media is gonna call me a slut in the tabloids?”
“Oh no,” she rolled her eyes.
“This really doesn’t bother you?”
“In 2017 some guy on Twitter said I sucked his dick for 10 000 won in high school. And everyone believed him. That hurt. What can they say now? That I go to cool clubs in nice dresses? That I have a great ass? I think I’ll live.”
“Jaerin-ie,” Yoongi tried to see if she was still hiding. Hiding her hurt behind bravado.
“I mean it, Yoongi-ah,” she said softly. He squeezed his hand in hers. “I know what I signed up for. This is your life. And I want it all. I don’t want us to hide anymore.”
-
Sun filtered in through the slightly sheer curtains of a Buenos Aires hotel room. Yoongi and Jaerin had already been up for hours though. Inspiration struck her first thing and while Yoongi called room service for coffee and breakfast to be delivered up, Jaerin set up her laptop and a portable keyboard up with headphones on. She bopped her head along to some beat she was mixing while Yoongi watched her from bed. Her entire body moved along to the rhythm, only to stop, press some keys on the keyboard of the laptop, and then get back into her groove.
She scribbled corresponding lyrics on a notebook next to her. Black pen streaking across the page. Crossed out lines and written over phrases covering the page.
Yoongi watched her silently. He hadn’t been writing much lately. The exhaustion of touring often didn’t leave him much mental capacity left to write as well. He knew some people wrote well and often on the road, but he never was. He needed to be home, or at least somewhere like it, with his state of the art equipment, comforting and familiar spaces. Jaerin, though, wrote on the road. She had written half a dozen tracks in South America alone. Most would never go anywhere. Some would combine with others to become finished demos. A line from here, a beat from there. It was how she had always worked. In collaged sounds from across her files and notebooks.
“Maybe something with a salsa syncopation?” She unplugged her headphones and turned to Yoongi. He put his coffee down on the bedside table and crawled out towards her. Jaerin played the beat she’d just spliced together. It was warm and vibrant. The kind of beat that made people’s hips start to move.
“You writing for you, or someone else?” he asked her.
“Just playing,” she shrugged. “Just wanted to see what I could put together with a couple Argentinian samples. Some fun, that’s all.”
“It’s good,” Yoongi told her. “Could use a stronger bass.”
Jaerin nodded.
They passed a day like that. Alternating between bed and and lounging across the room. A brief afternoon stint on the balcony. Yoongi watched her, ducked out for lunch with Taehyung in the middle, and brought her back a sandwich. Jaerin stayed immersed in her music. Sometimes she sang. Recorded with the microphone she’d packed with her.
“You should sing more often,” he told her that evening. Jaerin did sing. But only on her demos when she had no one else around to do it. She didn’t sing on her released music. At least not often.
“There was a time I thought I’d never hear you sing on stage,” she teased him. “And now look at you, practically vocal line.”
“Very funny,” he chuckled.
“Write me a ballad, I’ll sing it with you. I like the one you did with IU. And you sang on her show.”
“Maybe a drama OST?”
“Perfect,” she smiled. “Something like a… like a star-crossed lovers kind of thing.”
“You want to make us into a drama?”
“No, not us,” she shook her head. “The stars finally aligned for us, didn’t they?”
-
Sura was pregnant. Seokjin had announced it to them earlier that day before they began soundcheck for the last show in Sao Paulo. Three months along and none of them knew any better. Or at least, Yoongi didn’t know. Seokjin beamed with pride as he told them that was why Sura had returned to Korea a few days ahead of them. She needed another scan and the travel was starting to become too tiresome for her.
A father. A baby.
A whole new life apart from the one they had built together in the industry. Yoongi congratulated Seokjin. And he really meant it. He was in awe really of how Seokjin was able to build exactly the life he wanted.
He hadn’t seen Jaerin yet since the announcement, but he texted her about it and assumed that Jaerin promptly called Sura. The two had gotten closer on the South American leg of the tour. Often going out together, exploring together. Come to think of it, Jaerin probably knew about the baby already.
Throughout the night, Yoongi thought about her waiting at the hotel for him. Jaerin.
She had been a part of his life for over 20 years. Knew him inside and out. He could still remember what she looked like as a precocious child. Innocent wasn’t exactly the word for it. She was born knowing that life would be hard. Born knowing that it wouldn’t be fair. But still, Yoongi could remember what she looked like before life had gotten quite so hard. And these days, she looked like that again. Comfortable, maybe even healed.
As the final concert in South America came to a close, Yoongi felt like he had to hurry back. He wanted to be near her as soon as he could. Wanted to hold her close. Feel her heartbeat next to his.
The hotel room was dark except for a bedside lamp when he arrived. Jaerin sat up in bed reading a book. She barely looked up when he entered. He watched for a moment, then slipped into the bathroom to shower the day’s sweat and grime off before crawling into bed next to her. Yoongi laid his head down on her thigh as she continued to read.
10 minutes passed as Jaerin finished her chapter and put the book down again.
“How was the show?” she asked.
“It was good,” he mumbled. Yoongi nestled into her stomach, her cheek still resting on her thigh. Jaerin stroked his still damp hair.
“Did you talk to Sura?” he asked her.
“I did,” she said. “Scan went well. Her and baby are healthy.”
“That’s good,” he said. “I can’t believe Seokjin-hyung is going to be a dad.”
“Oh he’s going to be a great dad,” Jaerin said. “Honestly, I can’t imagine him not being a dad.”
“He already raised all of us,” Yoongi joked. Or not really joked. Sometimes he wasn’t so sure. Seokjin was only a few months older than him. But when they were 19, he seemed to hold wisdom Yoongi never had. And, he knew how to cook.
Yoongi rolled up off Jaerin’s lap, flopping down onto his own pillow next to her. She reached for the bedside lamp, smiled at him before turning the light off.
“I love you,” she whispered to him in the dark.
“I love you too,” he said.
They fell silent. Yoongi wrapped his arm around Jaerin’s waist and pressed his face into her hair. He breathed slowly and deeply, feeling her move under him.
But he didn’t drift off. Not yet.
“Jaerin-ie?”
“Yeah?”
“I don’t ever want to be without you,” he said, mumbling into her hair. “I want this. I want you. Forever.”
“You’ve got me forever.” He could hear the smile on her lips.
“Jaerin-ie,” he said again. “Let’s make it real.”
“Real?”
“Will you marry me?”

Note: Its been a really long time...... BUT this time I am truly not lying when I say the next (and last chapter ever) is coming out soon. This is because it's already done. It was actually the first thing I wrote for this story. So its been done for a long time lol
I wanted this last bit to mirror the first chapter of Seesaw because apart from that chapter, this is the only truly happy chapter in this entire story lol. And even then I tossed a little bit of angst into both. So like the first chapter of Seesaw, this chapter features 5 vignettes from their relationship over a period of time. One kinda sexy, one fluffy, one emotional, one about music, and a final one that leads into the next bit....
I also want to say thank you to everyone who read. Despite my inactivity, I noticed a fair amount of new likes and new readers on this story! So that was a cool surprise. I really truly appreciate each and every one of you.
