I was looking at illustrations on social media. There are a lot of beautiful drawings right now for Mermay <3. So I looked at what people were doing the more I was inspired to draw this.

(I noticed my blues were dying on me while I was starting to color in. Oups!!)

I am making a series of religious illustrations. I want for each religion to have a woman praying in serenity to her god (s). This is the first one. I do not know when the others will be ready, but meanwhile, I’ll be posting some cartoon drawings.

Their ears are my favorite part of this illustration. They were the longest to draw but it was worth it <3 !

Look at all this granulation (≧▽≦) <3 ! This is what I like with watercolor; it makes texture on its own and it feels more organic to me (=^v^=).
