I have #dyspraxia, lately I have seen the hashtag on Instagram overrun with hate speech posts from parents sympathy fishing and blaming their kids for having a #neurodiversity. We see things differently, but we still see that you hate us and blame us for our differences, even if you think we don’t. Had a play with some new charcoals I bought yesterday. Brand is Daler Rodney. Tin contains one each of hard, medium and soft charcoal pencil, a graphite pencil, one soft and one medium compressed charcoal blocks and a putty eraser. Another exercise from the @domestika beginners’ course with Puño. This time it’s to try to show expressions changing only the eyebrows and mouth. I’m sure that someone more artistically inclined would get this, but I’m very much puzzled at what it’s teaching. It seems to be jumping ahead but not in a way that is covering what I feel I need to learn. Another exercise from the course I’m doing on @domestika on beginners’ drawing taught by Puño (wonder if he has an Instagram). This one was to use a shape ruler (the translators term, I suspect shape stencil would be a better contextual translation) to draw a face. This is something from a course I’m doing on @domestika on drawing for beginners. The tutor is a guy who goes by the name Puño.
