The Scrawlr Challenge for this months Scrawlr Box is ‘Walk On The Wild Side’. Lots of people on the Scrawlr community page been posting some amazing realistic animal artwork, but realism isn’t my forte so I went with more of a cartoonish angle. I borrowed my daughters’ kawaii drawing tutorial book to help me get the right shapes, and ended up with this cute lil tiger.

The Derwent Chromaflow pencil set we got in this box was the perfect colour range for a tiger, and the toned paper meant I could make good use of the white pencil.

Hi! My name is Stephi, and I’m an amateur artist and illustrator from the UK ☺️ I spend most of my spare time (when I get it!) creating art pieces, and I’m planning on sharing them here as often as I can (presuming I remember to actually post them). At the moment I have been sharing all my artwork to my Instagram, and I’ve now started to branch out with process videos and reviews too. I subscribe to a monthly surprise art materials box called Scrawlr Box, which has one big monthly art challenge where you can only use the supplies in that months box to complete the art work (Scrawlr Challenge), and weekly art prompts where you can use any materials (Scrawlr Sketch), so I’ll post those bits here too. I don’t necessarily have a specific style, but there are definitely a few things that I love to draw or paint more than anything - mushrooms, Luna moths, enchanted forests and my yeti character Monty! Here’s a few of my recent pieces to get this thing going!
