See You Again
Maybe we will meet again tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, or our next life. Until then, Iâll keep living, but Iâll never forget our memories.

See You Again
Maybe we will meet again tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, or our next life. Until then, Iâll keep living, but Iâll never forget our memories.
This moment
I mean everything I say, the moment I say it.Â
What are promises then, you ask? They are made to secure a certain turnout of an event in which the individuals involved are not confident will happen.Â
Things are changing every year, every day, every minute, every second. We cannot control every thing, so letâs not try to. Work on what you can control right now, and that is being honest with yourself and with others, at this very moment.
3:30 AM and Iâm here studying for genes and heredity. Iâve got 5 more hours. I need to do well!
Moving On
We all move on from something or someone in life. These choices, or rather, sometimes uncontrollable events, can either affect us deeply, or just be a step along our journey. Itâs a fact we must understand and accept so we donât get hurt in the process.
Sometimes you have to forget what you feel and remember what you deserve.
(via desire-ring)
Your presence
You need to figure out what it is that you want others to feel in your presence. Then, try your best to bring that feeling out. Sometimes, we choose what is easy, sometimes we go for the challenge...but in the end, we are all worth it. And you better start believing that, cause itâs the truth.
I never left
Isnât it crazy how time passes and people become strangers again? I never want to become strangers with anyone. I always believe that once you meet someone with whom you click, that kind of chemistry will never be lost, no matter the length of time until you meet again. When you love someone, that love will never really go away. Maybe with our determination to move on, we are able to push certain people out of our minds and lives, but deep inside, the love we feel for someone cannot really die. Where we decide to place them in our lives and how we interact may change..but a deep feeling to suddenly disappear? I donât buy it. Unfortunately, I realized that this is not how most people are wired to think, and I cannot deny that it disappointed me. But, I suppose itâs all part of what makes up our individual personalities. Weâre all different; we all have our own standards. And perhaps the main goal is for us to learn more about each other.
These little things put me back into perspective. Stop dreaming, and start living fun in a real way.
Misunderstood
If you knew me for who I truly am, you would support my busy times along with my free times. You would understand that me being busy does not equal ignoring, hating, or avoiding you. If I had nothing going on in my life, I would not even be able to love myself, let alone love you as my friends and family. The only reason I may shut people out is because I donât feel comforted or accepted for who I am when Iâm present. So please, before you start bashing me, think about how itâd feel if someone put you down for exploring something you might end up finding meaningful. If youâre not going to let me be me, why do you expect me to be there for you at your convenience?
Shallow waters
You know deep down youâre worth more, but you stay on the surface because youâre afraid the water might drown you.
As merely one of the seven billion people living in this world, we might think that we do not have what it takes to create a lasting impact. Perhaps, the point that we forget is that it only takes one person who is passionate about an idea, to initiate something that may eventually grow and produce a positive global effect. Like Dr Israel J. Rosefskyâs vision of studentsâ valuable contributions through experiences in different countries, each of our dreams possesses potential to bring an affirmative change. Studying abroad is a great opportunity for me to learn, and then use the knowledge that I obtain to take part in helping form ties between multiple cultures. Two and two put together can eventually establish a connection rather than division. Whenever the famous prompt âtell me a little about yourselfâ comes up, I am geared to describing myself as a combination of the people Iâve encountered in my life thus far. In everything I do, I try my best to incorporate what I have previously learned in the most beneficial way possible. During my experience as a teacherâs assistant at an Early Intervention Center, I aimed to broaden the childrenâs horizons while working on their overall discipline. Taking the time to observe each child independently served as a useful starting point, as it provided much insight into their individuality. However, my main objective was not only to tailor to each childâs needs, but more importantly, get them to realize the existence of their classmatesâ ideas, through interaction with one another. Demonstrating the significance of engaging with peers who may or may not be similar to them, I hoped, would allow room for self-growth and inspiration in these young children. Likewise, when I shadowed a speech pathologist at a rehabilitation center, I was able to utilize my bilingual skills to bring two cultures closer together. Chinese patients were learning to communicate with therapy professionals in English, and the physicians who werenât Chinese started recognizing common Chinese medical terms. Gaining knowledge about other cultures has always fascinated me. Quite honestly, I believe in its capability of settling all of our perceived differences. In our mission to join together in peace, learning may be one of the strongest glues. By studying abroad in Spain, not only will I have the chance to explore the scenic beauty of another country, but I will definitely come in contact with people who do not share my way of living. Yet, that is the most interesting aspect, one of the top reasons for my desires to travel abroad. The more I see, the more passion I develop for learning. Moreover, I realized that âreal-worldâ learning is oftentimes characterized by people stepping out of their comfort zones. Understanding Spanish grammar is not enough; I need to be able to immerse myself into the Spanish culture, and one way is to communicate in Spanish. I have decided to fully converse in Spanish once I am abroad. Interacting with people of different cultural backgrounds can open my eyes to new ideas and inspire me more so than any kind of in-class education, technological device and social media could. With interest in the culture comes easy incorporation of the cultural experiences into my daily life. Although I know the six week program will pass by quickly, it will be one that stays with me throughout my future journey. When I return to Binghamton University, I will continue to take Spanish courses as well as converse more frequently in Spanish with friends. Like the saying along the lines of âyou wouldnât know unless you experience it yourself,â I will be able to share with the community everything that I have taken in from going abroad to Spain. My aim is to establish everlasting relationships with those I can learn from, and those I can teach too. âA genuine satisfaction is reached when I am able to give back and provide assistance to others. My goal is to become a Speech-Language Pathologist who will step out of her comfort zone and improve the overall wellbeing of patients by bringing her knowledge of other languages and cultures to the field. The Spanish-speaking population is currently growing, which, to me, is a chance to help an increasing number of people. When my efforts combine with othersâ who possess similar mindsets, two and two put together will eventually establish a connection rather than division.
Someday
âItâs going to happen, someday,â we whisper to ourselves. But until then, letâs live a little.
Untitled
I never understood why I needed to clarify my position with certain people after a while. Am I that demanding of labels? Of confirmation through words? I honestly started to wonder if I really was that shallow. But I realized recently that Iâm just living by feeling. No matter how emotionless I might believe myself to be sometimes, I feel way too much. I let feelings get in the way, and impulsively act on them. I often need to erase that element to be at my best. Thatâs why itâs ideal to not get too close to me. For me to not get too close to you, either.
DIY and Creative Writing Website
I'm thinking about finally starting a real website, where I can show my DIY stuff, in addition to my writing! Excited because I've been trying to do this since my early website days in middle school. Perhaps it will open me up to new things, as well as keep me motivated. :)
The Unknown
Planning ahead, thinking about the future, waiting for the bus...we are all always doing something that requires a look into what is to come, which is essentially unknown to all of us. We may have expectations, or believe that something will take place, but ultimately, we cannot guarantee it. So why waste time trying to chase it?
11:11
I used to stop whatever it was that I was doing to interlock my two hands, shut my eyes, and make a quick wish. I continued to believe and submit to this whenever I could, hoping that one day my true desires would come true. However, I've changed- an influence of time that never seems to fail. Nowadays, I spend my minute continuing to work on whatever I was working on, just to be that much more productive. Not that I fully ignore these digits on the clock, but I definitely give them less importance than I have previously. I take a look, think of my repetitive wishes, and then return my focus to reality.Â
Haz algo mĂĄs
No se necesita tener miedo. Ser una persona diferente que otras, pero una que represente a su personalidad real.
