Lupita, Danai, and Letitia.
my Mexican dad before we went to go see Wakanda Forever: so Namor, it means like “no love”? Is that part of his character?
me: no dad, that’s just been the character’s name since 1939.
Namor in the movie: so I took that as my name, “Namor,” the child without love!
my dad:
LUPITA NYONG'O on the most emotional part of filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever | ELLE (November 14, 2022)
M’Baku’s first scene in the movie was him coming into the throne room while chomping down a carrot, called the general of one of the world’s most lethal armies a “bald headed she demon,” continued to minimize a potential dangerous enemy to Wakanda by calling him a “fish man” and I support him for doing all that. What a vegetarian icon, truly✨

Lol I love how Frank/Karen stans (aka the usual matt murdock antis) can just tag their hate posts about Matt with "daredevil" "matt murdock" and other related tags but the second I return the favor on the Frank Castle/Karen Page tag I get dissed? Lol some of you can never take what you all dish 😕 "Toxicity for thee but not for me!"
.......Good luck booking that show u speak of! 💀💀💀
Anyways, 18 EPISDODES of Marvel Studios' DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock streaming Spring 2024 on Disney+ 😁
And I don't think Marvel Studios cares whether or not you care boo. Let's see the numbers, shall we:
After Matt's NWH Cameo:
After his She-Hulk appearance:
Like...short appearances from Matt and people still flocking to watch his old show. The demand will always be there for the superior character, that's just how it is baby xx
(Also let's worry about Jon Bernthal spearheading Shia Labeouf ( a toxic ABUSER)'s redemption tour and platforming people like Lena Dunham in his podcast and him being friends with gross people like Marilyn Manson before worrying about whether he's booking an MCU Disney+ show 😁)
The villification of Elektra needs to stop...all arguments I've seen are so bad faith and disingenuous- people painting her out as this emotionless toxic lady that keeps forcing Matt to abandon his normal life, which makes me wonder if the people touting this narrative finished watching the show, or stopped after 2 episodes after Elektra arrived. Because by the end of Daredevil S2, she literally dissuades Matt from abandoning his life in Hell's Kitchen when he said he was ready to leave it all for her? Matt talks about how he's never really went past his few blocks in Hell's Kitchen, and Elektra reiterates that it's because he loves New York and Hell's Kitchen too much to actually abandon it for her.
The "Elektra is toxic" narrative is so weird because it literally just disregards her character arc, but also is so blatantly in bad faith especially when it comes from those who frame Karen as the opposite 'good' side of the spectrum, when she was equally as "toxic" to Matt when you think about it (Foggy too). If we're gauging "toxicity" by measure of how much they're forcing Matt to be who he isn't, then how are people not mentioning Karen and Foggy refusing to accept that Daredevil is part of who Matt is? They immediately resorted to treating him as if he was an addict, instead of at least trying to hear out his motivations for vigilantism. And I know Matt has lied and kept secrets but at that point he deserves the grace to be heard out at least once, especially when Karen herself were keeping secrets. Let's try to be fair here, at least.
I feel like it's so understated that Karen and Foggy not accepting Matt being compelled to be Daredevil is as disheartening to Matt as Elektra wanting Matt to abandon his day life is, yet all I ever see from this fandom is the chastisement of Elektra- the discourse in this fandom is so one-sided, but I know that Elektra isn't a popular character among Netflix DD fans (unfortunately) so that's probably why it's the case. But we literally witness how much Matt is disheartened by the lack of Karen and Foggy's acceptance when we see how much he finds solace in Jessica's understanding of him and his story during Defenders. And when Matt declares to her and Luke about how he's glad they found each other (and even wanting that hug from Luke, lol).
TL;DR: If people keep addressing how 'toxic' Elektra is for not accepting both of Matt's identity then people need to keep the same energy for Karen and Foggy 🤷
Sorry for the long rant, I'm just tired of seeing the word tOxiC in the Elektra/MattElektra tags
I'm new to the fandom as I only watched DD a few weeks ago but... people don't like Elektra? That's news to me, I thought she was fucking amazing.
I do agree that they're all part of this same issue, Matt included. He wants her to see things as he does, she gave him a knife and tried to persuade him into killing, Foggy didn't listen to him at all and Karen had too many secrets, mostly derived from her troubled past and her wounds not healing. And don't get me started on Frank.
But I think that's part of what's great about the series and its characters. Stick is also full of shit, Matt makes a lot of mistakes... that's how people behave in real life, you can't expect anyone to be perfect 24/7.
In short: don't hate on Elektra, she was fantastic.
I'm afraid I didn't see much of Elektra, because halfway through season 2 I just started skipping Matt's scenes, and she was always with him lol, but she seemed cool?
I can't really talk much, but my best bet is that they don't like her because of all the miscommunication trope that went on when she started dragging Matt to do stuff with her while Foggy and Karen tried to manage with Frank's trial, but c'mon, Matt did that himself lol
Then get tf off my post because this is a Matt Murdock Stan account ijbol
It's fuck Frank Castle's bitch ass, btw. Lame ass character played by a shitty actor who is an abuser apologist IRL. Shitnisher stans DNI

Doing all these for mediocrity icb 💀 anyways we stan Jessica Henwick and Charlie in this house 🤷 actually talented, booked and busy actors (yes I'm calling Finn Jones mediocre and untalented which is an undisputed fact! May he rot in his eternal irrelevance and unemployment!
Interviewer: How does it feel to be a fan-favorite?
Charlie: *gushes about the character, about how he loves his job and sings praises to his fellow cast and crew over at Netflix, not saying a single thing about himself*
Charlie: starred in a successful Tony-nominated Broadway play, has two other shows outside of Daredevil, with one getting renewed for a 2nd season
Also Charlie: "Whatever happens to my career going forward, I owe to the SaveDaredevil campaign."
This man and his sheer inability to give himself credit for anything...the humility and gratefulness that he shows in spades is the main reason why he deserves the all the love and attention he's getting. We already know of his talent and dedication, but the fact that he has shown nothing but gratitude throughout all this is why he's now one of the apples of Marvel Studios' eye.
Nearly three years after Iron Fist was the first of five Marvel shows cancelled by Netflix, the [...]
