Kashi Makes False Claims Of Having Real Organic Food
Today I found this article about a grocery store owners' decision to stop selling Kashi cereals in his store because they made false claims of providing "natural" foods. What ended up happening is the grocery stores customers took pictures of his note and then they posted it on Facebook making it go viral. They have products which contain the words "natural" & "100% natural" but their products are far from. Kashi in-fact, has many products which contain GMO's. And get this, one of them is a genetically modified soybean. Are you kidding me?
As if soy isn't toxic all on it's own, they need to modify it to make it even worse. Basically we have a company which is claiming to be this natural, organic food company when they are nothing short of your typical low end, boxed food, toxic filled, garbage and joke of an excuse for food.
Food, as I have defined on many occasions, should give life, nutrients and promote health. Not slowly kill you like GMO's, pesticides & the 3,000+ chemicals we see being added into our foods each year.
And the 10,000 chemical solvents, emulsifiers and preservatives which are being used in the process of making food.
Organic food and health foods don't contain any of these things. Kashi does not make any organic food what-so-ever. Whether it's has 1 toxin or 1,000 I don't care, I don't want it!
It's not food and it's surely not "natural" like they claim. Lets not even get me started on soy, which is another food they use often. Even worse they modify it like I mentioned. Check this article & video out on the truth about soy. It will make your head spin. It will also leave you pondering the thought of what exactly the reasoning is behind modifying it.

Photos of the note began popping up on Facebook pages and food blogs as some consumers claimed Kellogg's was misrepresenting its cereal.
Kashi has done nothing wrong, says David Desouza, Kashi general manager. "The FDA has chosen not to regulate the term 'natural.'" The company defines natural as "food that's minimally processed, made with no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners."
Kellogg's is not misleading people, says Barbara Haumann of the Organic Trade Association in Brattleboro, Vt. Consumers "are totally confused" and don't understand that the only way to get organic food is to buy organic, she says.
Consumers drawn to a "natural" marketing message could also have their anger fueled by a sense that they were buying from a "small, pure" company. "They disdain large corporate entities" and now they find that Kashi "is in fact part of this big, multinational conglomerate," says Pam Danziger, a marketing expert with Unity Marketing in Stevens, Pa.

Can you believe what you just read? They said in 2015 their food will contain at least 70% USDA certified ingredients. Last I checked organic food came at 100% USDA organic. If not, why the heck would we even pay the extra cost?
And even worse than that, these people are once again insulting our intelligence by playing us with words that have a definite definition in the English language, but because the damn useless FDA doesn't regulate the word "natural" they are within their rights to use it meaninglessly.
They are right, they don't have to have any morals nor ethics, but good luck with your sales while you stick to that BS story about the FDA and the laws that allow you to lie to your consumers. I'm sorry, your EX-consumers!
Then go on to say we are the ones who are confused? NO! Your confused, natural and organic should not be any different from each other. This would be according to it's actual definition you ignoramus! Define that for us will you?
So there you have it. Another shady company you can cross off your list of organic food or even healthy foods.
In-fact, while your at it, I would stay as far away from big food giants and large corporations regardless of their claims. They can't be trusted.
