hello! im sure theres a more strategically viable time to drop this announcement but i dont feel i can wait any longer. my album THE SOUNDTRACK TO THE END OF THE WORLD will be out September 13th!
i have mentioned this on here, my website, and unfortunately my instagram (all 3 platforms I can stand to be on) but i want to make an official announcement post.
The Soundtrack to the End Of The World is an impressionistic soft concept album, exploring transfeminity, chronic illness, suburban isolation, abuse, bad coping mechanisms, and the way all of them feed into the overwhelming feeling that the world is ending. it features heavy references to other pieces of art in different mediums, as well as a sample of an essay @officialgeoffrickly graciously allowed me to use.
this is a noisy, harsh beast of an album that finds a moment of hope to desperately attempt to latch onto in the end. this is a new beginning to my career and a musical artist. this takes everything i have ever learned about production and songwriting over the last 8 years and puts it to the test. i hope you all enjoy when it comes out.
the second single, vietnam telecom, will be out on August 13th, a month before the album drops with an accompanying music video.
