One thing I think is most noticeable about Meeks is how expressive the boy is, you can tell exactly what he thinks exactly when he thinks it. Love my boy SO much.

I know I’ve spoke about Meeks hating silence, especially after Neil’s death, but have you ever thought about how mad he would go? I imagine he comes back from the times without the group, his hair all over the place and his glasses nearly falling off of his face, and everyone can tell what’s going on. Yet, no one asks him, they leave him alone, and that makes it worse. I imagine Meeks getting extremely depressed and easily irritated after Neil’s death.

This isn’t DPS related, but i want to talk about how Brokeback Mountain wouldn’t be a meme if it was a straight movie. No one would bat an eye if i mentioned it if it was a movie about a cowgirl and a cowboy falling in love instead of two cowboys.

And honestly, I think a lot of people would’ve been able to give it a shot if it wasn’t gay, and that’s what hurts me about it. As a gay man (coming out but technically not), it feels weird to watch straight people meme a movie that broke my heart so much.

I can imagine Meeks not liking silence after he met the Poets (because they’re such a lively group), and when he goes home for Christmas break after Neil’s death, the silence drives him mad, makes him regret not doing things - such as paying more attention to Neil, or doing something to prevent what had happened.

Meeks falls in love easily, but has a hard time expressing it - no doubt. Like, you know when Knox expresses it so openly - Meeks is the exact opposite.

I dont think Meeks ever really gets upset unless the situations are dire. I think of him as a pretty level-headed guy, like when he fights or argues with anyone (which I'd like to say would be pretty rare, too) he has a hard time expressing anger or showing that he cares about the arguement. I feel like he cares, but he can't really get himself to be upset over it.
