But basically. . Steve gets off to the idea of taking Eddie’s virginity. He bathes in it. Only watching him from afar though. Eddie is the only openly gay man in the school, Steve can only assume that nobody has touched him like that ever. . He gets off to the idea of making Eddie codependent on him. Making Eddie look at him with those doe eyes filled with lust. He spent many nights jerking off to images of him in his head, taking off Eddies clothes and sucking on that milky smooth skin he has. He watches the metalhead strut down the hallway, with that rockstar swagger he exudes. He just wants to shove him in the nearest empty room and have his way with him. To feel that untouched tight heat against him. Then it restarts the whole process again

It’s the summer of ‘85 and Steve Harrington is having a yard sale to make some extra cash.

Eddie Munson who is always on the lookout for something thrifted, definitely had to check out what Harrington had of value.

It turns out, Steve had quite a lot of stuff of value.

Eddie immediately found a really cool mug for Wayne, but the thing he was most excited to find, was a ring. Something that didn’t seem like the seller’s taste at all.

Eddie is holding the ring when Steve walks over and tells him, “My father’s a lawyer to some rock band and one of the members gave him that ring, then he gave it to me. It’s not my style, but it would fit perfectly with yours. $5.”

Shocked at this find, he replies with, “Harrington, this couldn’t possibly be $5.”

Steve says four words that Eddie, who doesn’t know it yet, won’t hear for the last time, “For you, it is.”

Eddie pays for the mug and the ring and he goes back home.

It’s spring of ‘86 and Eddie Munson is finding out Hawkins isn’t as it seems.

Steve Harrington who is on the lookout for the drug dealing metalhead, turned alleged satanic cult leading murderer, before the mob can find Munson themselves.

Eventually, luckily, Steve does find him.

Eddie’s eyes are big and scared as he nervously rambles, “I’m going to die aren’t I? They’re going to find me and they’re going to kill me. I didn’t kill her, I swear. Please believe me.”

Steve who is surprisingly calm, communicates, “I do believe you. There’s so much about this town that you don’t know about, and it sucks that it’s continued to wreak havoc. I’m sorry you’ve been dragged into this. I promise I’ll do my best not to let anything happen to you.”

Eddie tries to let Steve’s words sink in, but he can’t help but to fidget with his rings.

Steve notices and smiles, “I knew that ring was your style.”

Eddie shockingly says, “I can’t believe you remember.”

Steve looking out the window while he nonchalantly replies, “Of course I remember, how could I not remember anything that has to do with you?”

That rendered him speechless.

Steve Harrington. King Steve. Remembers… him?

Eddie tries to change the subject, “You know you can go now, I’ll be fine.”

Steve voices, “I am not leaving. You’re stuck with me now, Munson.”

Eddie quickly relents, “You make it sound so easy.”

And that’s when Eddie hears those four words from this man’s lips for the second time, “For you, it is.”

Eddie wakes up in the hospital.

Holy shit, he’s alive.

He opens his eyes to sad hazel one already looking at him.

Steve with the saddest smile says, “Took you long enough, sleeping beauty.”

Eddie has to whisper because his voice doesn’t feel strong enough, “I was waiting for true love’s kiss.”

That makes Steve chuckle.

Eddie focuses on the bandages wrapped around Steve’s throat and Steve notices, “It doesn’t hurt if that’s what you’re thinking. I’m way more worried about you.”

Eddie whispers, “I’ll be fine, big boy.”

Steve gets a serious expression on his face as he tells Eddie, “There’s that name again. If you really wanted to know how big I am, you could’ve just asked. You didn’t have to almost die and almost take my heart with you.”

If Eddie hadn’t just woken up in a hospital room, he would’ve ran out of here.

Steve takes a beat out of Eddie’s playbook and changes the subject by gently handing Eddie his rings.

Eddie jokes, “Not only did you save me, you saved my rings. My hero. My knight in shining armor. What a Prince Charming you are.”

Steve shocks him again when he , “I’m trying to be all of those things to you, but I’ve been too nervous to tell you. I guess it takes a life or death interdimensional mission and a hospital visit to really get the truth out of somebody.”

Eddie might be in coma because this couldn’t possibly be real and happening, “You like me?”

Steve smiles, “I definitely like you.”

Eddie has to know so he questions, “Why?”

Steve’s smile widens, “You seem to have this ability to cut through the bullshit and be who you are. Most of my life, I’ve been so busy worrying about things that don’t matter, I never got to know myself. Then, I met Robin, and my journey to me started. Then, I got to meet you. Not the you in the context of a rumor, the real you. And I like this you.”

Eddie takes a deep breath and admits, “I must actually be dead, because I have dreamt of hearing you say something like that for so long. Being the one in the hospital bed, my truth is, I’ve had the biggest crush on you for the longest time. I never would’ve thought I’d ever even get the chance to talk to you, let alone, fight alongside you. You have idea how amazing you are, Steve Harrington. And with that being said, I hope I’m not dead, because I’d really like to give you my heart.”

Steve doesn’t say anything at first. He takes Eddie’s hand and slowly slips each one onto Eddie’s fingers.

Eddie looks down at his hands and notices that there’s one ring too many, “This one isn’t my ring. It’s too beautiful for my rough hands.”

Steve lets his charm spill out, “This ring was given to me, under the pretense that I would give it to the person I was sure I’d spend the rest of my life with. Seems like an easy choice, when the person I have a chance with, almost died.”

Eddie looks up at Steve, “You would want to spend the rest of your life with me?”

Steve answers, “It would be an honor.”

Eddie says, “You are such a romantic. I like it. I accept this ring. Do you accept my kiss?”

Steve leans over and lets Eddie pull him in.

Eddie breaks the kiss to say, “Woah. That was- that was nice. I’d gladly spend my days feeling those lips on mine. I wish it to be true.”

Steve leans closer to whisper into Eddie’s ear, “For you, it is.”

And everyday it will be true.

Hellfire meets up at Steve's place, and they order pizzas.

Eddie wants to impress Steve, so he adds hot sauce to his pizza; Gareth opens his mouth to say something, but Eddie silences him with a single look, then he turns to Steve, looks him straight in the eye, and flashes a half-smile before taking a bite of pizza.

The sauce stings his mouth, but Eddie acts as if he doesn't feel it; he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of Steve, but as soon as he starts chewing, his whole mouth burns, and he can’t stop the tears from running down his cheeks. It’s as if hell were in his mouth!

“Did you just ruin a whole pizza by drowning it in hot sauce?” Dustin asks exasperatedly.

“I'm going to eat it,” Steve interjects, holding out his own pizza to Eddie. “There’s no hot sauce on mine; you can have it.”

Resigned, because he is actually a bit hungry, Eddie takes Steve's box, thanking him, then he watches him bite into the hot-sauce-laden slice of pizza without batting an eye. Steve shows no reaction; he doesn't squint or wrinkle his nose, his face betrays absolutely no discomfort, and no tears run down his cheeks.

Eddie tries to glare at him, but his eyes are still so full of tears that he looks ridiculous.

"No, we weren't a tissue match… it's this thing called a kidney donation chain? Nancy looked into it for me? Basically I gave a kidney to some stranger, so that a different stranger would give their kidney to you."
