â™› Biography:
When it came to the Evans family, there was no such thing as a free ride. Dwight and Mary placed a lot on them to do well. Stevie with Dominance and Stacey with her submission. Money didn’t come easy for the family yet they put whatever they could towards tuition for boarding school, along with a tutor for Stacey. The children didn’t want to disappoint their parents, especially after what happened to their older brother, Sam. In fact it was due to Sam’s voiding which placed an incredible amount of pressure to do their best. Stevie and his little sister missed their brother at first, Stacey especially since Sam used to take good care of her, talk to her whenever she had a nightmare or brush her hair as he knew how to do it in a way which didn’t hurt.
Stevie on the other hand found it hard to understand why his brother did what he did. Their parents talked about what took place one late night when they thought the children were asleep and it was that night when Stevie learnt his brother stole a car on purpose, which caused his arrest and placement into the system as a void. It was that night when the young boy stopped viewing his brother as a hero, someone he looked up to in a way. Instead he viewed him as a coward and a failure.
Sam gave up on their family and it caused such grief that the middle Evans’ child placed the heavy burden to pull the family together the best way he could. It was difficult given his age and limited ability to provide financially, but as soon as he was old enough to legally drive Stevie obtained a job at a construction site and poured whatever energy he could on the weekends to provide extra money for his family. Dwight lost his job along the way and even with Stevie’s income and the numerous odd jobs their father took on didn’t pull in enough and the young man pulled himself out of boarding school to work full time at the construction site so his little sister could continue to flourish as a wonderful submissive.
It was hard to not let his thoughts drift to the negatives when he was on the job, back sore from hard labor and the hot sun harsh on his skin. Their parents were unhappy, and as much as they didn’t talk about him, Stevie knew something was up because there were hushed discussions whenever he was home from work. Stacey remained oblivious for the most part, and if the girl held any opinions about their talks, she kept it to herself. Stevie on the other hand asked their mom what happened, if they needed to prepare for another change. It was then Mary revealed his brother was claimed and no longer a void. This news came as a shock to Stevie was he hadn’t heard much when it came to Sam. In fact the family treated as if they only had two children for the most part. The boy knew there was a Domme in his brother’s life, as Stacey read this to him from an e-mail Sam sent her; but he didn’t care.
To Stevie his brother wasn’t someone he held much opinion of anymore. He was a stranger, practically a ghost in their family. Yet when Mary mentioned the ceremony, one Sam invited them to, there was an anger which threatened to surface. Especially with the pain his mother attempted to conceal but it didn’t matter. It was there and Stevie wished his brother would keep his business to himself. He wasn’t a part of their family. He gave up on them. He was no longer an Evans. He lost that privilege when he stole that car years ago.
Months passed since the ceremony and their lives continued on. Stevie approached the age to attend finishing school, which would have been nice as they were able to afford it now; but the teenager never finished the necessary schooling needed to move forward. However there was the option to take classes outside of a school and as long as he passed the exams he’d be allowed to proceed. Which worked out in the end and both parents were proud of their son.
With the option to attend a finishing school available to him, Stevie poured over various places, mainly ones close to home as he’d not been far from his family all his life. Where to go was the hard part and it was when he narrowed it down to three schools, all in North America as they had the most prestigious ones to attend; Stacey came to him and suggested Cavendish in Toronto. Stevie knew of the school and knew exactly what Stacey was up to. The boy flat out refused. He made it clear to his little sister that any hopes to reestablish a relationship with their brother was long gone. It was pointless. Why waste his time in a Canadian school when he could further his Dominance education in Virginia; an academy which many well-known and respected Dominants graduated from.
Stevie thought that was the end of the discussion, but the next few days Stacey brought it up again. The girl reminded her brother that no matter what he or their parents said, Sam was still a part of their family. He deserved another chance and it was up to them to make it happen. Which Stevie disagreed with. Why give someone a second chance when he was old enough to know not to jeopardize his future? Stacey kept firm with this, because she knew if anyone could pull the family together again; it was Stevie. He was the one the parents listened to. They valued his opinion, especially when he was the sole provider for the family for half a year.
There was still time before he needed to submit the paperwork for the academies and Stevie decided to appease Stacey. There were no promises he’d attend Cavendish but he’d attempt to talk to their brother. All of this sat uneasily in his stomach and he wanted to tell Stacey this was a lost cause, mainly because he had zero desire to bring their brother back into their lives.
But he’d try.
For her.
