The article didn’t say about the treatment of Dominants but I did read on Wikipedia that in that country Dominants are considered untouchable and the only time they are punished is if their submissive is killed. What I don’t understand is why something like this isn’t stopped? There are countless countries which condone this, shouldn’t they intervene?
You would think, but I don’t think so, according to what you’re saying. That would explain why so many people are upset about the treatment. I obviously am privileged because I never really had to deal with this, and I’m a Dom, so it’s really hard to take this all in.

True, true. I read a news article today about a small city in Sudan where the submissives are publicly punished by their Dominants to the point they’re hardly grasping to their lives. That’s horrible to start with but it goes on to say that medical assistance isn’t allowed in most instances because the Dominant states they aren’t worthy of it. It’s barbaric. And these are submissives. Not voids.
I apologize about the grimness of this topic. I read the news every morning and it astounds me how terrible people are.
That’s horrendous. I think there should be structure, but that doesn’t mean actual abuse, that’s disgusting. I’m sure that those Dominants don’t even have a mark on their records or anything because it’s seen as normal there.

I don’t hear much when it comes to how Dominants and submissives are in England. Is it similar to here?

I had the opposite happen when I arrived. In my home there is the traditional Dominant and submissive structure but my parents listen to each other which my sister, older brother, and I grew up with. So far I’ve seen that carry over with most of the claims I’ve seen here. Which is great. I think it should be that dynamic and not where the submissive is treated like a child and the Dominant the always right variety.
Where are you from?
I guess the child aspect that you mentioned is seen a lot, now that you mention it. I wonder if the relationship you talk about will be seen now in the main stream. You see a lot of people with that kind of head space growing up now. I was born in England, but I studied in the US.
