My First Beacon Hill Food Forest Work Party – or M.F.B.H.F.F.W.P.
Today my dream of working on the Beacon Food Forest was made real. I had a Saturday off that coincided with the Work Party so I jumped at the opportunity. I even took the bus and arrived early. (more…)

Meditation Monday – Radiating Love
I just spent 5 days in Mt. Vernon, Washington (at a questionable hotel) for my Youth and Family Peer Support Training. It was a wonderful and eye-opening experience. This training showed me that the government support of the community is starting to reach out towards my beliefs: everyone is equal and we should have a win-win mentality to allow all individuals to become self-actualized and self-reliant, yet still humble enough to ask for support form their community. The training was fun and educational. They have systems I learned that break down ways to empower individuals. And they focus on fun and self-care throughout the entire process – check out my off-brand play-dough sculptures!
The training gave me tools for myself, my community, and hopefully my soon to be employment. It really has me shifting from a hands off approach to a dive right into the system and change it from the inside approach. Thank you for the inspiration and to see that people just like me are here to help others realize their potential and give us all skills and the desire to help one another.
And of course, here is my Certificate of Completion!

My inner world is currently experiencing a lot of inner turmoil as I shed old patterns and emotional scars. I am very much an introvert and need peace and alone time to recharge, but I found out today that it doesn’t have to mean retreating to my APT or other domicile or enclosed space. Today I met a tree.
I was passing by South Lake Union on my way home and this tree just caught my attention. I climbed into it and sat for a while, feeling the tension and anxiety melt away. Then I positioned myself laying along one of it’s sturdy branches. It was very comfortable and relaxing. I even put my feet up in the crook of another branch!
Me in a tree!
I took a moment to say a spiritual hello to the tree. It was a short yet lovely interaction. I asked its spirit for guidance and all the ‘eyes’ of the tree spirit looked at me and sent me an instant healing with the vision of a blooming flower. Almost like the Vulcan “Live Long and Prosper.” Then I took a tree spirit sprite with me and left a little sprite version of myself with the tree so I can tap into the serenity I found in those 15 minutes in the tree’s canopy.
It was a great spiritual detox experience and a nice rest (I was walking a lot today). I am feeling very rejuvenated and I’m glad I found a tree friend I can go visit in the city!
Also, baby geese!

Nature is my Happy Place My inner world is currently experiencing a lot of inner turmoil as I shed old patterns and emotional scars.
Hey all! I have a lovely, wonderful friend, Petermichael, with whom I have been spending a lot of time recently. We traveled to Vashon Island a coupe weeks ago and had a wonderful time touring the Cocoon version of an artist colony, a gorgeous open house on the water, finding one-eye the one-eyed cat, exploring shops and holding plates (“Hold my plate!”), playing in the cemetery, visiting an intentional living community, getting lost because I’m a male, visiting a light house and finding dead crab bodies all over, finding a wonderful Sun Dial Monument, all while eating copious amounts of gummy critters!
Then the following weekend, the gracious and beautiful Petermichael gave me my own garden at his house!! I was a wonderful day of hard labor, store trips, dirt, planting, inappropriateness and love <3
Please love up our garden work:
Rosemary, basil, strawberries, bell peppers, pumpkins, zucchini seeds, and broccoli seeds.
I love gardening and this is only the beginning! :D Thank you so much to beautiful Petermichael. <3
