Look at this horrible shitty post. I’ll talk about the article first. To start, let’s address that it was written by a man who is the founder of an organization called Gun Rights Across America, who “wholeheartedly believes the second amendment is worth fighting for.”
So the writer likes guns... so what? Hundreds of millions of Americans believe in the Second Amendment. This is completely irrelevant.
Next, while pictures of Michael Brown’s dead body have surfaced all over the Internet confirming that he was murdered in cold blood by a Ferguson police officer, the police officer who was supposedly assaulted by Michael Brown gave no absolutely no specifics as to the severity of his condition regarding the “attack” besides saying “the side of his face was swollen.”
No, that's untrue. Pictures of Brown's body prove he was killed by a police officer, not murdered. If you want to be a high-and-mighty social justice warrior, you might want to look a little bit into the law: killing someone and murdering someone are two different things.
Brown was killed when he reached for an officer's weapon. He was not murdered.
Also, since the publication of this article, several videos of the events in Ferguson have been released, and in them the viewer can plainly see that there were no Molotov cocktails or guns to be found.
That's a lie. Again. You want pictures of molotov cocktails thrown by protestors in Ferguson. Here. Here. Here.
Now let’s talk about this post. What I’m honestly very disturbed by is OP’s statement of “So what?” I’m disturbed by pretty much everything else in this post because most of is poorly researched bullshit, but that part in particular is what bothers me the most.
"Poorly researched" says the kid who provides no sources when I provide dozens. Try again.
"Who’s fault is that? If black people wanted to run for office, they would. And considering the population makeup, they’d probably win!" Obviously this person has little to no grasp on a) history or b) politics, to say the least.
Funny enough, I have a history degree and I work in politics. Believe it or not, black candidates consistently win elections in districts that are majority black.
But few black candidates run for office in Ferguson.
"If the underrepresentation is such a bad thing, why do the citizens in Ferguson perpetuate it?" Because shit like this keeps happening, you fucking idiot! Because black people keep getting shot for no reason other than they’re black!
People keep getting shot because they attack police officers and reach for their weapons.
This comment literally makes no sense. Before this kid was killed, there were still few blacks running for office and black people weren't getting shot then.
Black people aren't staying out of politics because they're afraid to get shot. That's absurd. Are you that naïve?
Because racism is alive and thriving and nobody wants to admit it! Not even our president wants to admit it! The citizens are not perpetuating anything, you unbelievably dense moron, the oppressive society we live in is taking away their rights so constantly and consistently that they couldn’t perpetuate anything even if they wanted to.
That's disgustingly racist of you, that you assume that blacks "couldn't perpetuate anything even if they wanted to." Of course they could! They're people, just like anyone else, and they are just as intelligent and capable!
Now, of course racism exists. Unfortunately, it always will. But going around and proclaiming everything as racist does nothing to solve the problem.
There's no evidence that the altercation was racist, nor that the current police activity is. Period.
