Sam jumped slightly as Masen touched her shoulder. “Nice to meet you. I’m Sammie. I was going to attempt to go downstairs and outside, but maybe the stairs aren’t the best plan right now.”
“I prefer brunettes.” He teased. “Plus, I think of you as like a sister. So, ew.”
“Well, good because I feel the same way. You’re like a big brother who I consistently want to embarrass and annoy.”
“Well, the darkness makes it much easier, since I haven’t got to see your face.” He teased.
“You’re seriously an asshole. I’m cute and you know it.” She huffed playfully and crossed her arms.
“Um, I’m here… Ellie. Oh, I have my lighter on me!” She reached into her pocket and lit it, although it didn’t do much to help.
Sammie looked around and saw the small flame when Ellie got out her lighter. “Well, at least I know where you are now. What if someone else is out here? What if Scooter is lurking in the shadows or something?”
“That’s besides the point.” He laughed. “I was coming to see what you were up to and the lights just went out.”
“Awww, aren’t you so nice to come visit me!” She laughed and shook her head a little. “I’m glad this turned out so well for you.”
“Dinnae stick your dick in it. As soon as ya do, you’re stuck with ‘em for life.”
Sammie laughed immediately, nodding a little. “Oh. Yeah, I’d say that’s accurate. And, I’m so thankful I’m not one of those people.”

“What do they say...?”
“I think ya may want t’ reevaluate tha.”

“I am the nicest person that you know.” He smirked.
“You don’t even know everyone I know. stupid.” She glared at him in the darkness, laughing a little. “What are you even doing here? Did you come to visit me?”
