so so so so so did some reading earlier
on torigin's stgr wiki page is a few interesting things
"he used to cook food himself to save money" i'm guessing food stores/custom food items were not well established that early into stgr, and there were coded in ways to get food yourself(self cooked). i do remember seeing vcrgta players eat bbq food that they got from hunting or fishing before. so he cooked food as the game intended because that was apparently cheaper than buying food premade, no biggie. guess what? he also gives some of this food to a girl named amano purako, basically everyday, as lunch boxes(bento). (kinda funny president of torino air once had to cook his own food to save money)
if that name doesn't sound familiar, that's because that's somebody who only woke up around late 2022 to july 2023; and she doesn't wake up often after the first vcrgta wave, because surprise, she's the first character of tenpura, the player behind orca torvor.
she's pretty close to torigin as far as relationships go. this makes sense, because as i mentioned in some other post, in the way mikoria go way back, she(tenpura) was good friends with the soul, kolupen. aside from the food thing, there were talks about living together, but they decided against it as stgr is the town of love and gossip, and they didn't want to be seen in that light(like mknz), emphasizing that their relationship was purely platonic.
watching them from close by is none other than fellow medic raidou mashiro. whom happened to be close with purako as well. mashiro used to be this lame looking guy with some ass looking hairstyle and equally ass looking fits. purako on the other hand was obsessed with fashion, and helped mashiro pick out clothes. mashiro saw her and torigin's daily lunchbox delivery, and got jealous/suspicious of their relationship; not knowing that the person purako loved was mashiro. after a long period of not waking up in 2023 and 2024, amano purako woke up in like early 2025, because, if you recall, that's when orca stops being active, and basically character ended. (tenpura got tired of the police life and started waking up more as her first character basically) she also woke up recently in stgr2. in early 2025, when purako met mashiro after 2 whole years, she was surprised to see the man he became. a nice hairstyle that matched his face, nice clothes, a sleek style. it's hard to think that the handsome popular mashiro we see today used to be this lame ass guy that looked a decade older than he actually is.
the good ending is that a lot of tee tee stuff happened between mashiro and purako rather than purako and torigin, and the bad ending is that mashiro not only didn't end up with purako, but also spent a good 2 years in town without purako, his stgr is different from hers.(also that chara end for mashiro, haven't done research for that)
oh and apparently torigin was a criminal before he became a police. one of those rare cases of "falling to the bright side". the only other case i know of this in stgr is eboshi, a criminal affiliated with some of the oldest criminals of stgr history, before becoming a police.
