Henry Stickmin's woken up in an unfamiliar universe, but he's got his priorities straight-- get some cash and/or shiny things. Unfortunately, his very existence makes him wanted by everyone from the govenrment to the CCC, so it looks like things aren't going to be so easy... Oh, and there's the part where he's jumping from timeline to timeline with no real control over it. That won't be a problem, right? Or, in which everyone is aliens and a large amount of crime is committed. Inbox: OPEN!

circa modern day, on the other end of the galaxy from Planet Earth, an alien civilization suddenly finds itself having to deal with an anomaly that calls himself Henry Stickmin. with the help of the inbox, Henry’s planning to steal stuff, avoid capture by the CCC, and generally just screw around... but his relation with linear time is shaky at best, and it doesn’t take too long before Henry finds himself hopping between timelines with no rhyme, reason, or control.

more info about the universe will be revealed as it becomes relevant, but the tl;dr is “modern day sci-fi with aliens that have cool powers”.

HENRY: ( Haven't I been resting for ages already? How long was I out for? Feels like over a year.. ) DOC V: Because you should. DOC V: If you get yourself killed again after I spent so long on you, I will not forgive you. HENRY: ( Hooray. )

HENRY: ... DOC V: You have time to think about that. I suggest you do.

Previously on Stickmolus..

He'd kept the communicator that allowed him to talk to the inbox, though, and with their help formed a plan. The CCC wasn't able to stop him from Breaching the Containment and he even managed to grab the diamond on the way, proving that there's No Gem Left Behind.

Sometimes he "remembers" the future, or skips backward to "retry" certain choices. Whatever this power is, he has zero control over it.. as proven when suddenly Henry and the inbox are launched through time to one week before launch of the Toppat space station.

After some prodding, Reginald talked about what happened in the past year: Henry had taken over the Toppats, only for his recklessness to get him captured by the Wall. He was strangely cagey about some details, though..

Brought back to life by Doc V, Henry's on the warpath-- only to get catapulted back in time to a couple days earlier, when he'd first woken up. After verifying that his memories carried over through the timeline jumps, the inbox warned him about what would happen if he continued on this path. This led to the realization that this is far from the only ending, and that depending on the choices Henry makes he might very well survive this..

With the future unclear, Henry is now fully off-script. What does Mission 17 have in store for him? Is this really a chance for him to make it out alive while still being Revenged, or will he crash and burn?

it's time, everybody. this is WAY overdue. the recap post is finished.

HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT: the inbox is going to remain closed until i finish the asks i already had answers sketched out and planned for. updates are going to still be slow for a bit as i get back into the swing of things, but eventually the askbox will re-open. i'm sorry it's taken so long, but we're finally here!

the art style may look a bit different, including from what's in the recap. ive kinda been changing things up as i get a feel for what's easy for me to draw, and my main goal is to make sure stickmolus is easy to do while still looking good. it's still gonna be fully coloured and have wacky effect stuff, the lineart'll just look different.

uh.. here's hoping i can keep the momentum up for a bit before i need to go on hiatus again!

Dumb idea since there's so many minecraft jokes with stickmolus, what if henry just kind of spawned in like in a multiplayer server instead of coming to earth how most aliens do and his reaction is just "I was in my bed a minute ago" and just has the instinct to punch a tree down

I feel like in order to hold Henry you have to give him something valuable/shiny to hold or give him food so he won't bite you

henry is not super big on physical contact, especially from strangers, so yeah trying to pet / hold him without bribery would not go well HDKJXFHDG especially certain routes. good luck getting anywhere near R!henry without losing a finger

it would be worth it though.

Something that would be funny in the limoliverse is when everyone gets to an area when galactic cypher starts to be more prominent and it just like "what could this strange language mean?" When it just a note where it's telling people to stop stealing the extra sprinkles for the donuts or something.

In stickmolus it would be even funnier since the could be a whole translation line with Henry reading and translating into ASL, then Charles turn it from ASL to English, and finally Ellie translating English in to limoli.

oh my god yeah FGJLFCHJ they very much have like. not a lot of overlap linguistically? henry can read/speak galactic, english, and ASL (which i havent incorporated into anything yet but i SHOULD aaagh, i just need to research stuff + figure out how to draw gestures), charles can read/speak english, lilio, and understands enough ASL to get the gist of what henry's trying to say when he's nonverbal, and ellie can read/speak lilio and a BIT of english but not very well + has to learn it and ASL as she gets to know henry better

(i also have a lot of thoughts about how henry might not actually know "real" ASL and might have a messy sign language he sorta made himself from trying to communicate to people but this is already a comic where im using videogame alphabets as alien ciphers so GKXJDFGHFFGXDKJFGH )

I though of something since me and my sister dug up our old we and have been playing Mario kart on it. What if Henry would be driving like those little clips that play if you sit on the start screen long enough where its them in invisible karts driving with the steering wheel that came with it.
