i love you all so very much but some times y'all are a little silly about qifrey's fear/hatred of water

he does not have an irrational fear of water. In fact it is very very rational. So i think he can probably take a bath/shower without freaking out because it is not the same as being stuck in a box filling with water or buffeted around in the ocean currents while being unable to swim

him and olly can have a fun bath together don't worry!!

I'm staying with my best friend and her partner, who have a five year old daughter

I know The Girls are a lot older than that, but my niece just put on a full blown production of & Juliet for me in the living room, with costumes changes and all...... And yeah. Tetia has definitely dragged all of them (including Olly) into reenactments of plays she saw during festivals.

And Qifrey watches every single one with rapt attention, clapping and cheering in all the appropriate places. Olly gets to drink as much wine as he wants once the girls are in bed to recover some dignity (he would cry if tetia ever neglected to cast him in a show)

there's still a dearth of teen orufrey in my life so i'm taking a page out of WHA's book by cooking my own food

jokes aside, i am as always really into studying and drawing the expressions of whatever characters have caught my fancy, but it's especially interesting and challenging when the source material is also drawn, and in a style that's distinctly different from mine. loved working on their respective smiles here!
