NO WORRIES ! I VOW TO YOU THAT YOUR 'KIT WILL BE MADE ALL THE SAME! A slot cleared up with the Tommy request being done, so you technically just beat me to it, haha.
Sometimes I wish I could really go hog wild and get into fashion illustration or room design with the purpose of really conveying some of the ideas I have for 'kits and such. In a better life...
Tommy here! Wondering if maybe I could get a kit with comfortable masculine clothing (no corduroy or velvet though) and maybe pretty circle skirts lumped in there too? I don't have a lot in particular I want, but I'd love anything!
โโ โก ห๐ฑ ฬ REQUEST POSTED!
As you already know, I asked you for more information privately, so of course I used some of that as a reference. I truly hope it's to your liking, Tommy!
A 'KIT FOR: cTOMMY !
Including comfortable, masculine clothing, circle skirts, cows, and bugs.
I've conceptualized my reccomendation as broadly standard, traditionally masculine foundation, with more eclectic elements as accesories! I'll, of course, be getting into the specifics now:
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป MATERIALS!
DENIM, DENIM, DENIM! I know you are best known as a khaki sort of guy, but when I see you in my minds eye, I'm seeing denim! I'm especially thinking of steel blue denim. Otherwise, I think you're very flexible. Cottons, as with any person, would look lovely. Especially for T-shirts and overshirts. I also think flannel and plaid would be good options for patterned fabrics. For accesories and jewlery, I advise you stay away from metals and stick with fabric, cordage, leather, and plastic! Bold, I know! But I think it adds to the look. I reccomend you keep an eye out for tastefully wethered and frayed fabrics especially.
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป APPAREL!
Big, bold colours are the name of the game, if you ask me, but if you wish to go for a more muted or pastel colour palette, you are free to modify as you wish.
Similarly to my Tubbo kit, I think you should go with a baggier silhoutte. I know you are often depicted wearing cardigans, so that is by all means something you can consider, but overshirts are also very appropriate, easy to find second hand, and come in a variety of colours. T-shirts or long-sleeved cotton raglan shirts are both good options, and are similarly common secondhand once you know where to look. I also reccomend glancing at linocut prints! As I find them aesthetically befitting.
As for bottoms, I deeply envision jeans, especially baggy cuts like skater jeans. Frayed or patchworked pairs looks are all the better! Though other baggy styles like harem pants could work well, with a woven belt to add a nice, natural texture. Of course, I would be remiss not to reccomend the requested circle skirts, with a particular emphasis on patchwork! You can often find these labeled as "boho skirts".
When it comes to footwear, socks could be a fun, but subtle injection of colour and texture, along with shoes being a huge way to bring together a colour scheme! I super reccomend something saturated, chunky and bold, like platform sneakers or high-tops! Alternatively, boots or the classic converse are great options. Super easy to thrift, too.
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป ACCESORIES !
Here's where I advise you go hog wild. I'll start with some of the things more catered to your specific interests, such as lots and lots of bugs! Some cows too! (Some of these shops contain many other options you can choose from!) I reccomend you pair these with their respective materials. Wood with wood, enamel with enamel, so on and so forth. But you may do whatever you please. I also found this cattle tag keychain, which I find super charming, and inspirational for other similarly themed accesories. I think adding patches to your garments would be highly advisable, you could also opt for solid colours or patterned fabrics of your choice (cowprint could be an option!). Jewellery is always superb, and I personally really envision kandi as befitting for you! Or any other kind of playful, colourful belt chain. I know that you're the kind of guy that likes bandanas, so I'm happy to provide you with options, though you could always use any scrap fabric of your choice! I additionally just really advise any other eclectic accoutrements of your choice.
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป MISCELLANIOUS!
As I'm sure you've picked up on by now, many of these things are very accesible through crafts of your own, and frankly, I reccomend taking this route over purchasing, as it allows you more freedom of choice, and it gives you a fun hobby! The sort of rough-around-the-edges, handmade look of these things really works for the kind of look I think makes you... Well, you!
You can start with learning to sew as a means of making your own accesories, such as patches, bandanas, fabric bracelets, etc. Kandi is an excelent, inexpensive craft that will present you with oodles of possibilities of accessorization. Making crafts out of bottle caps, buttons, or other recycled materials makes for both a very sustainable path to take, but also an aesthetically fulfilling one! Grab scraps of fabric and tie them to yourself, or your bag, Attatch everything and anything to your belt. Wear bandaids as an accesory. Make a patchwork patch of the flags or symbols once dear to you. Go wild!
And, lastly, I know that you had quite a close connection with music discs back in the day, so I want to encourage you indulge in physical ways of enjoying music! Records, CDs, tapes, whatever calls to you. You can always find portable players second hand, and make it a means of more intentionally enjoying something I'm sure you still love.
hello! could i get a c!quackity ( dsmp! ) stimboard with casino, ducks ( like the animal !! ) and meat imagery? thank you so much!
โโ โก ห๐ฑ ฬ REQUEST POSTED!
SIR YES SIR! I'm always happy to get to peruuuse some meat gifs, so, as always, it's a delight to make a board like this! I tried to use some different colours than the usual, which I hope you do not mind. THANK YOU FOR THE REQUEST! COME BACK ANYTIME!
hello, sorry to bother you, but it seems like some of your posts are getting marked mature? specifically the bee stimboard post, but others seem to be missing as well... i understand if this is something that can't be fixed by you though :)
-piglin anon
ITS'S SUCH A BUMMER, ISN'T IT! Unfortunately, there's not really anything I can do about it. It's been an issue for us folk that make and curate gifs for about a year now, and in predictable Tumblr fashion, nothing has gotten fixed!
So, for now, it's something I've learned to tumultuously live with. But I'll keep in mind going forwards that it keeps you from seeing my posts! I'll try and do whatever I can to avoid this from happening to often.
Hello!! I'd like to request an ID pack based off of C!Tubbo, if possible?
I don't know much about him (despite it being my source QvQ) so any help is appreciated! ๐
List of themes I feel drawn to:
-Rams/goats
-Greenery and nature in general
-Scouting (if that's even a theme...?)
Also preferably neu or masc!
Thank you, in advance, if you choose to do this!!
โโ โก ห๐ฑ ฬ REQUEST POSTED!
Getting back into the groove of making these! I really hope I got it right with my recommendations, it's very difficult to get across exactly what I mentally envision with such limited references at my disposal. BUT! I TRIED ALL THE SAME! AND I HOPE IT'S TO YOUR LIKING!
A 'KIT FOR: cTUBBO !
Including masculine and androgynous fashion, and themes of rams/goats, nature, and scouting.
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป PATTERNS / TEXTILES!
OKAY! I'll get us started with the simplest category:
For anything, whether it's home decor (think cushions, blankets, etc), clothing or accesories, I think of you as a very texture-centric individual. Here's what I envision:
Thick, wool-heavy fabrics. Merino, flannel, alpaca, cashmere... Etc.
Heavy/textured knits, especially using alpaca or merino yarn!
High-pile textured fabrics like boucle, fleece, and sherpa.
And others, such as corduroy, full-grain brown leather, suede, felt, and canvas!
As for patterns, it's obvious to reccomend gingham, flannel, and thick stripes! With maybe some pattern usage in the case of knits. You could even toy with quilts, especially if using earthy colours!
Now, how do we use this? Well! Let's check clothing first.
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป APPAREL!
I'm envisioning a very baggy silhouette here, with plentiful layers abound! I think you could really get away with only having a few statement piece garments that will bring your whole look together, and working around that.
Let's see to your top layer first: YOU NEED SOMETHING BIG! A sweater, a jacket, a cardigan- You have oodles and oodles of choices. I especially reccomend you look for something second-hand. Old brands like Woolrich can be found quite easily, and they have beauuuutiful sherpa-lined leather, suede, and canvas jackets that work perfectly!
As for underlayers, I think here's where you have some more freedom. Loose t-shirts of your choice, button-ups (ideally casual ones), henley shirts. Your choice! Though I think this is a good layer to offer contrast with colours or patterns, so be mindful of that.
When it comes to trousers, I think corduroy is a great option that brings in oodles of texture. But I think loose-fitting pairs like parachute pants, cargo pants, or even regular ol' sweatpants work like a charm!
When it comes to shoes, I think you can really affort to be flexible. I personally think that bigger is better, no matter if what you're working with is sneakers or boots. Army surplus stores are your best friend.
"But Bdubs!" you might say, "I live someplace warm! These options aren't all viable for me!" DO NOT WORRY. I have you covered. Replace the cargo pants with shorts, keep the underlayer of your choice, and consider the humble overshirt! to maintain the silhouette, if one layer isn't cutting it! Heck, with the power of cotton or linen, you can get away with a whole lot. So go wild!
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป ACCESORIES !
I'll get the animal-related paraphenelia out of the way first: Intergrating animals into your wardrobe is easy peasy, though things like patches, embroidery, jewellery, or just trinkets to keep around (The last shop in particular has other assorted things you may want to check out)! You could even get into many a hobby that would allow you to do this yourself. I especially reccomend something like embroidery, sewing, or lino printing, as it would allow you to add even more flair and texture to your garments, all while enriching yourself! Things like patches would look superb with this kind of look.
Speaking of jewellery, it could be a VERY useful asset to you, but I implore you to consider ceramic, clay, and wood, as options over metals. BONUS POINTS! Maybe a rope bracelet, as an iconique component of a scout's toolset. It's practical! Perhaps even consider the world of friendship bracelets, as yet another scout-affiliated hobby?
I think hats could also be beneficial to your clothing endeavours. Here's a more eccentric one, but really, any trapper hat or beanie could do!
And to start finishing up with clothes, I leave you with two more things: BOOT CUFFS! And one of the most iconic elements of the scouting experience, all sorts of patches. You can opt for either exploring vintage badges, or look for independently designed ones!
๐ฟโ หห๐ขึดเป MISCELLANIOUS !
Seeing as I've already gone on for far too long, I'll keep the rest of my ideas brief. As I already mentioned in the textiles section, I think a lot of the logic here can also be applied to home decor. Wool blankets, patterned curtains, or other assorted touches could be really worth considering. Beyond that, I have hobbies to reccomend. It seems to me like you used to enjoy baking! Why not get into that, or get something that reminds you of it? If scouting is of interest to you, why not get some of the associated gear that could prove useful at any time? Or invest in something like a fauna/flora identification guide! LAST BUT NOT LEAST! CONSIDER A HOUSEPLANT! GARDENING IS ALWAYS WORTH GETTING INTO! GREENERY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL MORE AT HOME!
I know this isnโt typical but I am from a Minecraft SMP even though iโm not a canon character! could I get an Enderman stimboard with pie, spring and cottagey imagery? anything cozy and sweet will work!! thank you!
โโ โก ห๐ฑ ฬ REQUEST POSTED!
OF COURSE! love requests like this. I LOVE IT! AND I IMPLORE YOU TO SEND MORE STUFF IN, IF YOU'D LIKE! Especially seeing as sweet and cozy might as well be my specialty. I HOPE THE BOARD IS TO YOUR LIKING!
Greetings-! Could I perhaps request a Whitepine Pyroscythe stimboard with themes of writing , letters , hourglasses/clocks, gardens/flowers if possible and muted reds/browns-?
โโ โก ห๐ฑ ฬ REQUEST POSTED!
ABSOLUTELY! Y'know what, before this request, I had no idea what Whitepine was. Totally out of the loop. BUT NOW! WAOW! What little I saw compelled me! It's so visually striking! So moody! I really loved it. You just don't see that a whole lot. I HOPE THIS IS TO YOUR LIKING! I LOVED MAKING IT!
