Poe sighed, putting down another knife.
"Alright. Take the jacket off." Hux stared at him in silence. Poe looked at him. "I am not taking my chances here, buddy. You have too many weapons on you. Take that off."
"I am... Well, I suppose I will take it off of you. Hux." Poe sighed, "It's just... I just have to see if you don't have more weapons."
"I have a knife in my sleeve and another strapped to the waist."
"Riight. Good to know. You still have to take off the jacket."
Hux pursed his lips and glanced at the wall and sighed, unzipping the uniform. He slowly took it off. Poe unclipped the knife from his arm and froze. Hux glared at him. Poe was looking at his shoulder; there was a layer of translucent scales down his arm and chest. When the light hit Hux's skin, they shimmered in blue and green. Poe glanced up at Hux; the redhead was looking straight, refusing to look at Dameron. Poe swallowed.
"Are you done with staring?" Hux hissed. Poe snapped out.
"Sorry." He mumbled. Hux wrapped himself with his hands, still not looking at him. Poe cleared his throat and unlatched the other knife, his fingers accidentally brushing scales on Hux's back. Hux shivered, and Poe backed off quickly. "Sorry." Sorry." He dropped the knife on the table and looked at Hux. "Any... More of these?" Hux glanced at him. He was used to people staring at him but... There was no disgust in Dameron's eyes, just... awe? Poe Dameron looked mesmerized. Hux nodded slowly. "Yeah. I figured. Where?"
"Find out yourself." Poe blinked, surprised.
"Or are you just all talk?"
Poe slowly approached him again, standing a few centimeters before him. Hux inhaled, parting his lips when Poe slowly slid his hand under Hux's shirt. The scales were surprisingly soft; Hux shivered when Poe's fingers brushed his gils.
"Stars," Poe whispered, looking at him. Hux flushed and stifled a moan when Poe moved his fingers up the sensitive skin.
"Don't," the redhead choked out. Poe froze, moving his hand away. They stared at each other in silence. Poe reached for the zipper of Hux's trousers, holding his eyes. Hux didn't move back. He closed his eyes when Poe slid his hand down his stomach, tracing the scales. Hux's trousers fell down, and Poe snorted softly, looking at the knife strapped to his thigh.
Hux cleared his throat, looking at Poe, who now knelt before him to unclip the strap.
"Sure." Poe stood up. "I... Can I ask?"
"The..." Poe waved at him.
"Do you want to ask? Or do you want to see?" Hux said, because why not? Because maybe it will get him some advantage. Because maybe if Dameron is focused enough on him, he won't let the others eliminate him. He leaned closer to Dameron. "Or do you want to touch, Commander?" He whispered next to his ear. Poe pulled him into the kiss. Hux gasped, feeling pilot's hands on his ribs. He inhaled, parting his lips and pressing his hips to Dameron's.
"Wa...wait..." Poe snapped out and stepped back, shaking his head. Hux glared at him.
"What now, Dameron?" he hissed, annoyed. Poe smiled, amused.
"Hey.. I have nothing against that, but maybe later?"
"Oh after the round of interrogation? I don't think I will be up to it anymore."
"Don't worry. We don't treat people like First Order. I promise nobody will harm you." Poe touched the scales on his arm. Hux leaned back. "We just want to talk." Poe zipped Hux's trousers, smiling. Hux looked at him.
"What if I say I will talk only to you?"
Poe looked at him surprised and then flashed him a smile.
Hux grabbed his jacket from Poe's hands.
"How far do the scales go?" Poe blurted out.
Redhead smiled, amused, and glanced at him.
"You will have to find out, Dameron."
