rescued his friends who were stuck in the middle of no where, then drove back home alone because Rachel didn’t want him to go with them

Gave up the opportunity to be on TV to help Rachel who had a broken rib (and then went to the hospital with her)

Told Joey that he could act on his feelings for Rachel

Most of the times, he was the only rational character on the show and the only one not afraid to speak his mind (Ex. When Phoebe thought that her mother was inside that cat, told Joey to take that cab driver role even if it was just a two-line part)

Refused to give up on his friendship with Rachel when Emily asked it to do so

Decided to stop playing his sound (lol) at Central Perk so that Phoebe could go back to singing

Gave the “Frankie say relax” t-shirt back to Rachel because he knew how much she loved that t-shirt and respected that she was moving on
