A very clear tutorial on how to perform a suspended bind off.
The wonderful TECHKnitting shares a very Beautiful Method of picking up and knitting stitches. This is really clever!
A really clever way to hang up sweaters.
Kate Davies is in the process of releasing her first line of yarns. This post takes you through the process of how the dyeing of her yarn is done. It's absolutely fascinating.
Knit-iot very kindly pointed me in the direction of this post from Giggle Jelly about how to spin batts. It's got some good information to help me tackle this fibre prep.
A free shawl pattern from Justyna Lorkowska. It's got a similar feel to the Quicksilver shawl I just finished. These big boomerang shawls are great fun to make and they are so easy to wear.
A great idea on how to measure wraps per inch when creating handspun yarn. I've always struggled with getting an accurate read on my yarn, so this is an invaluable tip and I'm going to try it on my next handspun project.
Crafts from The Cwtch has done a lovely clear tutorial on Knitting Jogless Stripes in the Round.
Rebecca Danger has designed her first quilt tutorial. It's got hippos on it! So cute.
This tutorial from Knitting Daily gives good instructions on how to graft brioche stitch and includes videos to help clarify things.
A great explanation of how to make fauxlags by April Klich of the With Wool blog.
Stolen Stitches raved about this recipe on her blog. I just know I will want to make it, as we usually have both lentils and carrots in the house.
I've been eyeing Cat Pod's for a few years now, but didn't want to buy one when I knew I could make one. However, looking at these instructions I know I'll never make one by wet felting - much too physical for me, Someone more healthy might feel better able to give it a go though, so I thought I would share it.
this free pattern for a pouffe knit out of Rowan Big Wool is Taken from Knit It! Learn The Basics and Knit 22 Beautiful Projects by Melissa Leapman
It's always good to find a clear tutorial about grafting. This one for grafting garter stitch by Little Nutmeg Productions seems to be as clear as you can get.
This is a handy tutorial to remind me how to entrelac. I took the class this cowl pattern was from and found it great. That doesn't mean to say I will remember all these instructions for next time though!
