A book called In Praise of Love was mentioned to me and I started to read it. However, there were things about it that bothered me so I had my own philosophy of love compared and contrasted with it. What emerged was quite fascinating.
As an American living in this time and place, I am struck by how foreign I feel. I listen to other voices, read comments, and writings from many people. None of them describes my experience. I see many expressions of fear, anxiety, jealousy, anger, hatred. And this is AFTER I quit X.
