I think we as a fandom underestimated how Feliks and Ludwig would look visually ravishing together. This is especially in the light of Feliks' new design and the recent depictions of Ludwig with his hair down. Both characters are comely with their own magnetic charms. Next to each other, they'd be lethal. There's also something appealing with a pair with the same colorings and features (to a certain degree) while still being different. Ludwig is of course masculine and sharp in looks while Feliks is effiminate and saccharine.
This is discounting their angst dynamics, them theoretically arguing from dusk till dawn about the economy, defense, politics, history, art or having an inexplicable pull towards the other in the real world and imagined.
Well I was wishing I have something to think about that's not current political situation to keep myself sane, and I guess I got it, cuz I couldn't stop thinking about it for few hours now
While I myself love the idea of exploring their relationship (I have two unfinished fanfics about it, one in modern day and second based slightly on one scene from "the pianist") I'm not yet convinced for the ship
What I need to accept it, is pretty long well crafted story with them solving all the issues first, becoming good friends for some time and maybe, but I still think they would be better in strictly platonic relation(my asexual ass begs for more just platonic ships)
Also I gave Feliks two dogs, and one of them, a Pomeranian, is a gift from Ludwig so there's a start
Im still more attracted to Germany X Czechia in which Poland acts like typical overprotective brother tho
Funny how I also came up with Poland owning two dogs a few days ago, out of which one would be a Pomeranian (although, I did not think of it being given to him by Germany; I was thinking more of it being somehow linked to Prussia if anything; now you got me thinking maybe it would be cool if it was from them both), and the second one would be a Polish Lowland Sheepdog :'>
I have one sketch of Germany and Poland that shows a part of the dynamic (Poland teasing/annoying/roasting Germany + them randomly training together) I imagine them having modernly, but I wouldn't say my idea is polished.
In general, I think they would be way more chill than many, probably, imagine (XXI century wise). They would have arguments from time to time, more or less serious, since in some aspects, their personalities crash (at least in my perspective). Germany being all about seriousness and planning because of seeing it as efficiency, while Poland often finding serious atmospheres and too detailed planning stressful and trying to lighten them up. (So when Poland is actually serious, you know it's something big).
I often imagine Poland throwing dark jokes while Germany trying to be careful/tactful. ("I'm glad you're trying to be a comedic relief, but, excuse my language, what in the actual fuck?" - Germany) I also imagine Poland bringing WW2, but it's usually because one of his coping mechanisms would be babbling about his past rather than wanting to start a serious conversation where he would have to open up. It would probably be confusing for Germany, but he would eventually get used to it and let Poland rant all he wants.
So their relation would be partially awkward, a mix of understanding and misunderstandings.
There are a lot of options to consider, explore, and choose from. I was writing here more from the basic platonic perspective rather than trying to turn it into a romance. I'm a multishipper, especially in Poland's case, but GerPol/PolGer rarely appears in my mind.

Anon! That is a question I was asking myself not too long ago. You see, I often times can't find faceclaims that "fit" how I see the characters, both because I don't follow actors that much and because I imagine very specific facial features for them.
So I can give you some in-depth descriptions of how they look! Maybe you guys can help me out by suggesting some faceclaims too :))
Yugotalia appearance headcanons!
Serbia:
I always pictured him with strong facial features, an "unconventional handsome" type of man.
big (and slightly crooked) nose, bushy eyebrows and a strong jawline.
however, his main facial feature is the fact that he only as an eye (sliding my headcanon here)
has a big scar on the other that is all covered by an eyepatch. he almost never takes it off.
nonetheless, that doesn't make him any less attractive! it kinda adds to his rugged beauty.
also has a subtle stubble that becomes more noticeable when he doesn't shave. mans hairy.
really intense gaze, but does not have resting bitch face.
Croatia:
Your stereotypical handsome guy
clear eyes, high cheekbones, chiseled features, all of the package
he looks like he was carved out of marble really, his skin is impeccable too
his nose is long and straight as an arrow, and his eyebrows are always neatly done
he takes great care of himself, much more than the average man
suffers from resting bitch face though, but that was a given
has a stare that can cut diamonds lmao, the frown is permanent on his relaxed face
he has some freckles on his nose and cheeks, he hates them
fortunately they're more noticeable when he gets suntanned
Bosnia:
Idk how to phrase it but he's both average and?? really pretty??
has a really friendly face, the kind of person that immediately puts you at ease
slightly downturned eyes and heavy set eyebrows, guy has that stoner look
also dimples!!
and the prettiest smile of all the yugos, nice teeth despite smoking 24/7.

vuk definetly says to him that he could be mistaken for a girl
but that is because he doesn't have distinctive "masculine" features

Montenegro:
He's similar to vuk cause cousins, but on a closer look they differ in quite some aspects
for instance, his face his longer, and his nose is also more broader than vuk's
permanent eyebags, even if he sleeps 37 hours a day

overall, his features are much more jaded than his cousin
Macedonia:

Basically a carbon copy of cro ahah, has the exact same frown

her face is more thin than her cousin, her eyes are a pretty almond shape
