New year, new art!
Crossover time. Been a bit since I did a sci-fi piece and Predator: Badlands was a fun romp that got this image in my head for the influences for Dek and Tessa crossed with the og Predator scene. I figured a fun piece could help shake off a bit of my latest block.

"Soulcatcher"
The Black Company Chronicles by Glen Cook is a series that I adore. Lo and behold, after several years, another entry (Lies Weeping) is coming out on Nov 4th! I’ve wanted to do a piece of Soulcatcher for a while and just never got around to it, but how could I resist with a next book coming. She’s such an interesting and complex villain in an already complex and morally grey world, masked and enigmatic in appearance and motives. There aren’t a ton of details about her description, just some bare bones basics and nuggets here and there, so it made for some fun to flesh out the image in my head that I think of her.
Who are some of your favorite book villain(s)?
New art, playing around with lighting and color.
Little piece of Verso from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Finally getting back to some art on my recently acquired iPad and kicking off with one of my favorite all-time movies, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
New Bloodborne art of Lady Maria and the Doll.
"Confess. Repent. Suffer"
"X Marks the Spot"
Been on an X-files rewatch binge here, so did a piece to celebrate one of the most iconic TV duos.
With Dragon Age: Veilguard fast approaching, it got me in the mood to do a piece of Morrigan as we saw her in Origins. I'm not a fan of how the characters look in the new game, there is something too soft and clean with them, despite the increase in details overall, but I want to know where they take the story after 10 long years.
Who is your favorite character from the Dragon Age series?
Fallout was fantastic. The sets, the characters, the dark humor - they chose right by having the Westworld people do this show.
Quick portrait I did of Nightcrawler who was my favorite X-men character growing up. Who was yours?
I keep forgetting to post my art on here. ._.
I've been fighting some artist block for a while, so I finally settled on starting up some ideas I've had for a music series featuring some of my favorite artists. First up is the indomitable Heike Langhans (@solarsiren), who has done the vocals for so many groups - ISON, Remina, Light Field Reverie, LOR3L3I, and previously Draconian. If ever you needed moody, somber music that exudes darkness and lets you feel like you are floating in space, I highly recommend checking her work out as her audible presence is a mood that is just top notch.
"Goosey MacLean." "Oh, no, no. It's-it's Lucy." "Nope, it says Goosey."
Felt like doing a quick, dumb, silly sketch after seeing this scene in Fallout since my artistic motivation has been lacking, giving Lucy the Untitled Goose Game treatment. After all, if we have Goostarion in the Baldur's Gate community, why not this?
Was lucky to see a Mucha exhibit in Prague last year, so got inspired to try out a little witchy art nouveau piece for my wife. Fun little piece and a style I'd like to play around with more.
Oh hey! Some more old art I forgot to post on here. If any character in La Casa de Papel deserved a piece, it was Nairobi.
