the eerie aura surrounding the burial mounds was weighing down on lan wangji’s shoulders ； crushing his ribcage, like an invisible hand. it felt like every last shred of joy had ( disappeared ) from the world. wei ying --------- what has this life done to you ?

dark pools fixated upon the figure clad in black ； eyebrows furrowing. the pain of his aching feet had faded in the background. the 𝐄𝐗𝐇𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 from what had felt like endless travelling, had disappeared. replaced by longing. && by 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐓. it pained him, seeing the man he’d come to cherish so much surrounded by endless darkness. it was like a dark veil had been placed over him.

i’ve been using roleplaying as an escape from real life since i was eleven. i’m pretty antisocial && very, very anxious. my favourite thing about writing is probably the fact that i can deep dive into an entirely different universe && be essentially someone else for a little while. it’s quite soothing. especially, when i’m feeling depressed or generally unwell. i’ve also made some really good friends over the years. much better friends than i’ve ever made in real life && i cherish all of them so much.

💔 what’s something you dislike about your muse ?

for lan wangji specifically, i really don’t know. he was my first favourite, upon watching mdzs && he’s still one of my favourites ( xiao xingchen is my #1 baby atm ngl ). i don’t think i can think of something i dislike about him tbh. he’s kind, loyal, caring. he put himself through a lot to support the man he loved.

Ok, I’m not a big fan of these kinds of posts, but lately, I’m becoming more and more disheartened so I need to know if you’re out there.

Please reblog this post if you are willing to write with ‘un-shippable’ muses.

I’m talking about those muses who are perhaps elderly, who are married/taken and not liable to affairs, muses who are asexual/aromantic, or even just muses whose muns don’t really want to ship.

While I’m always happy that anyone would want to write with me, sadly, over time I have realised that my older/married/ace muses are very rarely (virtually never) requested. his thoughts were interrupted rather rudely, when a hand yanked at wangji’s sleeve, causing him to 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋 black ink all over his studies. it took wangji a few seconds to render what had just happened, before offering a sharp 𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐄 to the perpetrator. as he’d expected, wei ying was seated next to him, smiling from ear to ear despite the mess he’d just caused.
