"From now on, feel free to come to me if there's any problem or if you just want to vent." Ciize Rutricha as ALPHA in Episode 10 23.5 (2024)
I watch for the plot
The plot:
The writers on Blank play too much. Because ain't no way RIGHT after the sex scene Chet is like "you'll be a perfect mother to Aneung"
"I love you. I love love love love you. From your moon." June Wanwimol as LUNA in Episode 12 23.5 (2024)
NAHYO best friendship.✨ಥ_ಥ
all of us OG July 2020 Warrior Nun fans waking up on June 28th, 2023, after enduring both the Long Hiatus and the Cancellation:
we truly are god’s strongest soldiers
happy pride y'all (originally lowkey for @plastic-pipes 's birthday but then i got busy and forgot to finish it)
#whipped!bea
WARRIOR NUN (2020-) season two | dir. Simon Barry
+bonus (bea has power to make ava listen to her w puppy eyes she just doesnt know it yet)
genuinely fucked up that if i want to interact with someone online i have to say words and have a conversation instead of just mashing my face against them like a cat
Season 3 be like Ava comes back a few weeks after the portal scene (for her it's been maybe 2 or 3 years) with news of a holy war coming. She asks about Bea and the other nuns tell her that she left. They want to call her and Ava says no because she doesn't want Beatrice to get involved in this bullshit now that she's living her life the way she wanted. They don't reunite until a few months have passed, which leads to a very tearful reunion, angst because when Beatrice finds out that Ava has been back for months and didn't tell her, she gets mad at first, meaningful conversations, kisses and more tears.
Anyway someone write a fanfic at least
The thing about Avatrice's first kiss is
Ava knew since episode one that Bea has feelings for her. That she's in love.
And she also recognized Bea has internalized homophobia and might not be ready to admit it.
But if that was their last time together, Ava wants to reassure her, that Ava herself loves Bea.
She gave Bea the kiss as a gift but never expected anything from it. She's surprised when Bea correspond to the kiss. She's grateful too. And then all the emotions: pain, happiness, earning, sadness, love...
Yasmine really signed up for the ride of her life

AVA + staring at BEATRICE’S lips (s1 heart eyes version)
WARRIOR NUN (2020-) SEASON TWO | dir. Simon Barry + bonus
What I loved specifically about the slowburn to Avatrice is that the romantic tension precedes the sexual tension (fingers crossed for season 3). Most canon queer ships I've seen aren't slowburn, and the only way to do that is to amp up the sexual tension, which is based on physical attraction primarily, and that isn't something you need much narrative buildup for. Romantic tension actually takes time and narrative investment to develop. Sexual tension says "I imagine having sex with you", romantic tension says "I imagine having a relationship with you", and the latter is something that just takes time to build. The reason I prefer the latter is because the attachment is not, in the initial connection, built on hormones alone, it's based on genuine attachment from a shared history. It's not characters losing their heads over this other person they had sex with and then caught feelings for, it's characters building a relationship bit by bit and then imagining a physical relationship, which then isn't based on hormones alone but on a desire to be close to this person in every possible way. It's a dynamic specific to slowburns, and now that we've had this delicious romantic buildup, I would be happy for sex to happen next season. But the fact that romance preceded any sexual advances was really important to me, and I'm so glad they did it that way.
