so I’ve been really super BIZZY with my birthday stuff and happenings (happy birthday to me) and i dont have much time right now because I need some SLEEEEEEPPPPPPPYYY TIMEEEEE becornz im gonna be busy bee tomorrow as welly BUT

heres some of my “how I see marauders characters” ive only done four so far eek but yeah ima show them now :]

MARLEEEEEEENE oi lahve her sew mahch (hence i started with her) I think she was very christian/catholic in early years at school and was comphet/internalised homophobiahhhhh and she has a chin line that shes insecure about and her teeth are a little wonky donkey and when she was little her hair was very blond and then it darkened into strawberry blond then into a ginger-brown but she always dyes it so it stays blond and i was torn between a couple of hair styles but I like this one [bonus note though I think she would get a buzz after OWLs]

I did Lilypoo second because I know exactly how i think she looks like and I was torn between “she looks so amazing with hoop earrings” and “but they would be against uniform rules and she wouldnt want to break that” um i dont see lots of people showing her with glasses but I see it and I think she wears reading glasses. Also im seeing this now like “oh snap she looks exactly like MJ” ummm I guess that fits with people who are like ‘james potter spiderman” NO. JAMES POTTER ≠ SPIDERMAN BECAUSE LITERALLY REMUS LUPIN IS RIGHT THERE like maybe JP fits with TonyStarkBioDad AUs but remuuuuuu is perfect for spiderman. Anyhoes ignore my tangent. The corduroy coat is gorgeously fitting and I was torn between wanting to give her curly hair and being in LOVEEEE with this specific hairstyle on her. [side note i just took a breath and realised im yapping too much as usual also fun fact my keyboard is PISSING ME THE FUCK OFF BECAUSE IT HAS STARTED MAKING ME TYPE THE WRONG LETTERS ALL THE FUCKING TIME AND EVERY MOTHERCUNTING TIME I TYPE SPIDERMAN IT MAKES ME WRITE SPUD AND TRIES TO MAKE ME USE THE SHIT BLOODY PO! Ladies and gentlethems, Mary Motherfucking MacDonald!! I literally adore her. Anyway idunnoowheretastartwithisbecusilostmatrainothought uhhhh I think she would have cool toned skin but wear a mix of jewellery colours and I thought I gave her a silver necklace but maybe it wasnt an option for this specific one idk and colourful eyeliner but still siren eye cunt serving diva. She’s leaning a little alt with the piercings here I just think they suit her very welly and i have decided that in my humble opinion she is bi BUT OK. She’s kind of biromantic and pansexual if that makes sense because she has a preference for dating women and holds men to way higher standards but she’s like sex positive and believes in casual hookups where she has no interest in dating because she thinks men are terrible in relationships. She still mostly dates dudes though especially until like 6th-7th year because she is very brainwashed into gay is not ok. STRAIGHT IS GREAT EVERYONE!!! WHY IS THERE NO STRAIGHT PRIDE??! the last one i did today was pandora and let me tell ya. I am always in 2 minds about her. Somedays im like “hmmm ravenclaw!!” As you can see: i decided Slytherin. This is Pandora Rosier but sometimes I hc that she’s related to Lucius Malfoy and I KNOW THATS A LESS POPULAR OPINION BUT I LIKE IT OK. Also I don’t see Evan with white/blond hair like loads of people show both of them with white hair but in THE JEANIE OCHRE CANON pandora dyes her hair blond because she got a spot of vitiligo that turned her hair white and she was insecure so she dyed it all pale and you know what? It fucking suits her so even when she syarted to be less insecure she kept it. Also she’s wearing a cutie patootie cardigan because I liked the cardigan and I think she’s a cardigan diva through and through. She has winter ones and spring/autumn ones and them these thin ones for summer that idk how to describe but i can feel their vibe and thats enough for me so who cares about you

Also I have in fact been to Ireland but only once, a very long time ago, to County Wexford. It was beautiful, although I didn’t find a good chippy and dunno if thats way less of a thing in Ireland. I’d like to travel around there though.

one thing I really love about trolls and the broppy dynamic, specifically about the pre-adventure broppy in the first film is how its clear they both care about each other before they really become friends through saving Poppy’s snack pack.

on Poppy’s side, she tries to extend an arm of friendship by always giving him individual, bespoke invitations to her parties, even probably knowing deep down that there’s absolutely no way he’ll go to them. It’s shown that for everyone else she sort of throws invitation cards to them in envelopes that might not even be addressed to individual trolls, so we can make the assumption that it’s at least reserved for her friends: perhaps her perspective is that Branch needs to join her friend group before they can be close, but whatever her thoughts are, she’s trying to change his withdrawn approach to the pop village.

Then on the other side, with Branch, he also seems to want to be friends, but is unable to get past his fear and depression and anxiety and paranoia and self-isolation [this is making me consider whether a real world COVID-19 au could have potential]. The part that I really love the most is him keeping all of the invitations. He took the “ceeeelebrate freedom from THEBERGENS” invite, stomped on it, and then took it back to his big bad bunker and fixed it up so he could hide it away with all his other invites from Poppy. I think this shows that, even though he doesn’t get along with Poppy’s friends - who don’t see any point in trying to keep encouraging him to take a place amongst them when he probably hasn’t put in any effort to be friends with them throughout the years, he does appreciate Poppy’s attempts at friendship. Similarly to how Poppy wants Branch to fit into her life of singing and dancing and hugging, a part of Branch seems to think she could fit into his life in this huge bunker that he made for him and all his brothers, but is lived in by him alone, if she wasn’t all sing-dance-hug-happiness all the time.

So both of them want to be friends, but want to change the other one’s nature in order to do that. Throughout the film, not only are they saving the trolls, fixing the bergens, and going on an adventure, but they’re also connecting with each other and growing into a new acceptance that they can be friends even with their differences. Thats pretty awesome if you ask me. Which I suppose you didn’t.

omg another underrated Broppy moment is when chef comes in with Creek and Branch is like “he’s selling us out!” strangling him with his hair and Poppy says “Branch! Wait! I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation. Give him a chance!” But also strangles him when he admits to selling them out and Branch just folds his arms and gives Poppy like a proud sort of luck

i’m not really very into tiktok edits but ive been saving way more recently so I just sorted them into a folder (theres only 18 lol) and most of them are stranger things or spiderman. Tell me why, many months ago, I saved an edit of Samwise to Miyazaki (Paris Paloma)??

don’t get me wrong, I stand by this edit. But back then, I hadnt even SEEN Lord of The Rings. (Well ok that not ENTIRELY TRUE; I had seem half of the third film. Not the first half. Not the last half. A random middle half. And I didnt watch all of it because of my arachnophobia. And I don’t mean to go entirely off topic, but yes I do mean arachnoPHOBIA not a fear of spiders (do you have to be diagnosed with phobias?) because its a whole thing.) In fact, I only just finished watching Lord of the Rings YESTERDAY, so what a craAaaaAaAAAAzy coincidence that I find this forgotten edit TODAY of all days.

All this to say, I firmly stand by my saving of this edit. Is it the best edit I’ve ever seen? No. There’s this incredible edit of Nancy from stranger things and I see sooooo many INSANELY MAGNIFICENT across the spiderverse edits. But I did enjoy watching the edit. Lord of the rings on the other hand…

ok. I DONT REGRET WATCHING LORD OF THE RINGS. Just putting that allll the way out there so no little lotr geeks (said with affection because geeks are good) come around twisting my words. But oh, my lord of the rings, they know how to drag it out, and thats for sure and certain. I had to watch each film in like 4 separate parts because I kept getting so unbelievably bored, and distracted, and I didn’t want to be siphoning my attention halfway onto the films. I know I’m talking too much (fuck you I can talk as much as I want on my own blog) so I might post another one about some of my thoughts while watching.

But the tldr of this possible future post is - I’m glad I watched it, and that’s that box ticked off, but I don’t have plans to watch it again.

weird dreams

you know when you have a dream that makes complete sense as youre dreaming and then when you wake up but youre not really AWAKE awake it keeps going for a bit and then throughout the day you remember little snippets of the dream and you’re like “huh?? That makes no sense at all”.

well last night I dreamt that i was hanging out with a friend from my college that im joining in the next academic year (not a real person but a made up dream person who looked a lot like someone who was in one episode of the show i was watching today, so i definitely hadnt seen her before today) except the date of the dream wasnt next year, it was sometime over this summer holiday. We were also with her husband?? And I think we were in london near a carousel. [side note: my sincerest apologies because as soon as i try to write about my dreams it all gets very muddled up in my brain and gets quite confusing] also the only reason I’m saying its London is because I think dream me knew it was London. Anywho, me and my friend somehow ditched her husband because they had an argument and she hated him anyway or something so now the two of us were dating. And yeah, ok, so far this might seem confusing, but i need to add in an extra layer of confusion - I think that my dreamself was there to see my current real-life not quite a crush (a girl I will probably never see again and who I’ve spoken to like once in the last two months but thinking about this doomed yuri has triggered a memory of a dream I had earlier last night were I was talking to my not crush and she thought I was weird so I think perhaps this was connected to the dream I’m talking about now)

So me and my new girlfriend (dream Jeanie Ochre has game what can i say) continued walking through London and got a pizza slice from one of them “in the middle of the street slice of pizza” places and walked back past the carousel and there on a picnic bench sat: someone I was irl friends with at secondary school (we werent close but we would chat in class and she knows I’m gay) and my irl not crush and also someone else I was friends with. I stopped to chat like “hey how’s your summer” [side note: I think I was half awake by this point, hence real life people starting to show up] and then I was introducing my “friend” - this dream character didn’t have a name so I’ll call her Kate - and I asked them if they were ordering food and said I’d chat with them until their food got there

and I’ve unfortunately forgotten the rest so yeah

tmi limits

One time i was chatting on a group chat and i said i had to go take a shower. My friend was all like “jeanie ochre thats tmi” how the heck is that too much info. Its not my fault youre imagining me naked or something??

anyway, it made me consider what different people consider to be tmi. Because, for me, saying i was going to have a shower was a way for me to explain why i would stop messaging back for a while, and also a way to force myself away from my phone - but for my friend it was too much.

any quotev kids?

Just started torturing myself by rereading one of the first fanfics i read (or maybe even the first ever) and its uhhh not great

i miss all my quotev friends, although i do have the snapchat details of a couple of them that i cant use because i dont use snap anymore, but im getting flashbacks to my quotev days and not only did i have maybe 3 or 4 different accounts (i really only used the main one) but i did infact do some writing and made a couple of moderately popular quizzes.

i remember one time (i had a screen time limit) i accidentally requested more time from my dad and when he asked what the website was i told him that it was just a website for quizzes and not that i had heaps of friends on there that i didnt know in real life.

i just think that those of us who started our fanfiction/fandom journeys on quotev were all a little strange, and lots of people were a bad sort of strange.

when they got rid of the chat functions and all sorts, i tried using plurk for a while but it was definitely not a piece of me.

hey there--had a rather busy (or more like super crazy extremely busy) past few days and i dont really have owt to post but i dont like silence so just saying hi :]
