this week

i packed cam a lunch box for the last time. i didn't realize it was the last one until i was halfway through. i wonder when my mom packed my last lunch box. did she know it was the last time?

i have such an urge to send her off with all her favorite foods... i want to buy boxes and boxes of buldak and takis and mac and cheese, i wish i could cook her the dishes i cook that she loves the most. i understand why my parents do this now

i have achieved a new level of unbothered... i am a grown ass 31 year old woman, i know what i want in life, i'm satisfied in my career, i maintain my health/fitness/finances, i bought myself a house AND a car (and my only debt is my mortgage), i have a supportive social circle, my nails are always done, my mental health is stable. must stay focused on what is within my own control

i made a new neighborhood friend and we really hit it off. we have so much in common, it's pretty crazy. female friendships are so so important and i'm so grateful that i'm the kind of person who can make and maintain lasting friendships

i have learned to not fight uphill battles... let people be who they want to be
