What does a pinch-hitter do?
A pinch-hitter creates a work in the place of someone who had to drop out of the exchange. Pinch-hitters only create a gift for someone else, they do not receive gifts.
When we need a pinch-hitter, we will send out an email to everyone on the pinch-hitter list asking if they would like to claim the work. The first pinch-hitter to reply back claiming it gets to create the gift.
The list is open to all ages, but you must have an AO3 account to be a pinch-hitter.If you’d like to get your email added to that list, send an email at any time before June 21st to [email protected]. Just tell us your username on AO3 and let us know if you are okay with creating explicit works or are under 18.

You can leave that field blank! It's not technically supposed to be on the sign up form, something got mis-clicked while setting up sign ups and no one noticed, but we can't fix it since there are already sign ups submitted. The same goes for the relationship field in the offer.

2025 has been a shit show both in the United States (where I live) and in my own life. But I managed to achieve a creator goal this year that I hope to hit again this year. I joined MTH as a creator this year (and people actually bid on my offerings)! And my health issues are starting to get under control. So, there are some rays of hope in all the darkness.
2026 is going to be another rough year, but here's hoping I can get back to creating more as an escape.
Anyway, here are the works I created in 2025. Yes, it is all Marvel once again, but I swear, there will be some DC, DC Crossover, and Stranger Things fanworks coming this year.
