I appreciate what you guys are trying to do. Trigger warnings are a great way to take advantage of the tagging system on Tumblr to keep people from seeing things that might genuinely harm them mentally/emotionally. I loved the idea of using trigger warnings when they first started getting used, but I’m honestly curious as to what makes people think that anything in this roleplay thus far needs to be tagged?

There is nothing gory and/or mature happening yet, it’s pretty much a season 2 reboot at this point, and is only slowly building to an impending apocalypse. I get that the ads have a picture of a zombie, but stop and really think about that for a second. If someone needs to have a trigger warning for a non-graphic picture of a zombie and a non-graphic description of a roleplay, it’s my sincere belief that that person shouldn’t be on the internet at all. In fact, they probably shouldn’t turn on a TV or go outside either. Say goodbye to shopping at the mall or Walmart, I’ve seen banners advertising The Walking Dead that are more graphic than the ad for this roleplay.

I don’t know what’s going on with Tumblr roleplaying right now, but I really don’t think every minuscule thing under the sun needs to be tagged. Why? Because the real world doesn’t have trigger warnings, and it’s my firm belief that you don’t belong online, or in a roleplaying setting, if you literally cannot physically or mentally handle non-graphic/non-mature images that appear in everyday life. If you want to live in a bubble, that’s totally fine, but don’t harass other people for something so unnecessary. It makes you look childish and immature.

Also, fun fact, there’s another great feature on Tumblr known as blocking. If there’s a page that bothers you to the point that you feel the need to hide behind an anonymous face and start harassing blogs affiliated with them as well, then you might want to consider using that instead. I’ve already moved past it, and I don’t plan on repeating what they said. Even though it is a little discomforting to know I’m the only one who got them... anyways, it’s not important. Just threats that hold no value- not yet, anyways.

No, Kurt, it does matter. Despite how little the faculty seems to care, don’t ever start thinking they’re right. It’s a huge deal and it’s not even remotely okay. I know you’re strong and always moving forward, but this is the kind of thing that needs to be demolished before it grows into something much more malicious. You’re not anyone’s punching bag. It’s worth bringing to their attention.

It’s not that I think they’re right, I’m simply resigned to the fact that they don’t plan on doing anything about it. It’s been like this since Freshmen year, and none of my attempts at demolishing it have stuck. Even joining the football team, however briefly that was. Nothing’s going to happen if I bring it to anyone’s attention, so what’s the point?

Nothing worth mentioning aloud. As for the grammar... well, whoever wrote it tried especially hard to be threatening, but it was hard to take seriously for long when they couldn’t even spell “pavement” right. Or any words that had more than four letters, for that matter.

No, it’s fine. Totally, completely fine. I’m over it, okay? Even if I couldn’t help the sour mood it put me in at first. This Summer was just so calm and nice that it’s going to take me a bit to adjust getting back into the McKinley way of things, but... it’s okay. I’m ready to focus on what’s important.

What's your dream role?

I’m actually not sure. Most of the roles out there that I’d want, or identify with, are usually cast as women. Maybe the lead in The Boy from Oz? Or a gender-bent version of Glinda. Anything’s possible, I guess.

Who was your hero, as a child?

I was pretty passionate about a lot of things as a kid... it would go from Patti LuPone to Brittany Spears. My parents were the ones who let me indulge in my obsessions, though, so I think the true heroes would have to be them.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I figured I spoke of it often enough that it was pretty obvious, but apparently not. The words New York and success immediately come to mind.
