Light pulled her closer, both hands set on Misa’s waist as he tilted his head down and kissed her lips.

Misa was so happy to be in Light’s arms as he kissed her. Inside she was squealing with happiess. Her arms were wrapped around his neck as she was leaning up to meet his lips.

Of course, there was only slight emotion behind this kiss in reality, but Light was always a very good actor. He needed Misa to still be head-over-heels in love, even if he himself just had a little tiny bit of feelings at the least.

   Upon answering his front door a few minutes before midnight, Light couldn’t help but blink with surprise.

Lelouch winced, he had been injured when he’d left the rebel scene. He hadn’t antisipated armed forces to sweep in on the peaceful Japanese protesters. Yet, that was Britannia for you. Injustice to the core, naturally by morning the newscasters would sweep it under the rug and mimimize the number of Japanse killed to the number of police involved. After the protest, Lelouch had lost his communication devices and cellphone, fortunately he knew this neighbourhood it wasn’t a bad one hence why he chanced a door. He didn’t fancy bleeding to death in the middle of the street.

"Pardon the intruision. .I’m aware it’s late. Do you perhaps have a first aid kit?" He inquired, in an attempt to feign normaility as the pain in his side just grew worse. He doubted it was a gunshot wound though, more than likely sharp plastic.

Amber eyes widened slightly upon finally spotting he wound. He nodded quickly and stepped off to the side, all wariness of who the stranger might be and why he was here disappearing once he realized he was hurt. Why wouldn't Light want to help?

           " -- Yeah, come right with me. It's in the upstairs bathroom."

    He closed the front door behind Lelouch, leading him up the staircase. Of course, he'd also be curious to know what exactly happened, but that story could wait once he started fixing him up.

Light sighed, averting his amber eyes away so they wouldn’t have to make eye contact. Both arms were folded across his chest, two tell-tale signs that Light was embarrassed.

A small giggle escaped Beyond’s lips, he was aware that Light was embarrassed, he hadn’t done a very good job at hiding that fact.  "What is it, Light?" He smirked, his empty eyes watching him intently.

Light glared once he heard the giggle. It was hard enough for him to be open about these things. Showing any form of weakness, even normal ones like bad dreams, were never his style.
