since we only went to work in the morning due to the storm, i decided to make come chocolate cupcakes yesterday. the icings are: chocnut, vanilla, and oreo :)

it's the little things that push you to the brink

it's the lull of the night all alone in my room and the silence of the day spent in a little office far from anything else. it's the thoughts that rush to my mind all uninvited. it's the stories told be other people of their awesome lives and of mine lacking their of. it's the unnerving feeling of not belonging and just merely taking up space in a vast world. it's feeling alone in the middle of a crowded room and just listening to all the chatter and noise and knowing none of that is coming from you. it's living in slow motion while everything that surrounds you goes on and you just watch it like how you watch movies all the time to pass the time and get to another day. it's depending on music to drown out the silence that makes you mad. it's the realization that now it's only your dog that becomes your companion and confidante. it's how you just want to fade away in the background but you already know that the wall has already consumed you long before you wanted to be out of sight. it's the voice in the back of your mind telling you that there's something out there for you when you both know that's just a load of bull. it's the cake that you put your hopes and dreams into but you don't get to perfect it. you never do. you never do with anything.

next stop: mykonos

i've always wanted to see greece because of sisterhood of the travelling pants. haha it just seemed so white, pristine and bright. and i got a little feel of it here. what i remember here the most was the aroma of the food they were cooking. we passed by the kitchen's open window and the cheesy smell was calling us. we were supposed to have breakfast here for our last day but that got cancelled because it rained so hard.

we stayed in the phuket-themed part of the island and this right here was our porch. believe me, the view and the wind was awesome. i even fell asleep in that chair under the late morning sun. i didn't mind the heat because it was perfect with the windy air plus i had my sunnies, my magazine and the view. it was enough.

i'll be posting photos from our trip to balesin and i just have to say it's paradise. i've never described anywhere as paradise but i have to with this one. even though we only spent a weekend out there, it truly felt like a vacation like none other. the scenery was amazing, the food was mouthwatering and the water was so clear i keep on forgetting it's salty. haha 

they have, i think, 7 themes from all around the world: phuket, bali, st. tropez, costa del sol, mykonos, balesin and one more from france. i forget now since it isn't fully done yet.

i really fell in love with this island, it was just beautiful and there weren't a lot of other people and that suited my taste. i'm really grateful that i got to experience balesin because it's like a hideaway. far away from reality, far away from everything else.

when i say no

it's hard to turn down people. that's why i usually can't say no. i remember during highschool, my friends "entered" me in a course of how to say no because they said i was too nice on giving in to people's requests. haha but it sucks to say no most especially if you could very well just say yes and exert a little effort.

so here i am, after saying no to an elderly man's request about seeing our fruit pulper because my parents said so, i have to blog about it. ahaha i just have to, in a way, let out the guilt.

it's already late but i just have to air out my feelings. haha

i still cannot get over stefan's scene eavesdropping on elena's profession of love to damon. that look he had, it just breaks my heart every time i watch it. yeah i know it's silly but i get teary-eyed every time. he really loves her and i just can't get over the fact that they've been through a lot and they've done a great deal of holding on to each other and having faith in each other when things go haywire and this is elena's choice? and that damon makes here feel alive? i'm just a sucker for original love teams and i will forever be in favor of stefan for elena. even though i dislike her most times for it, she's the love of his life and i just want them to have an awesome ending. good thing though that lexi was there for stefan for that episode. sigh for real friends.

it's ok stefan, i still believe you and elena will end up together. your love story is epic. so just get out of that vault soon and save the day!

my friend ordered some cookies and blondies and i really hope she likes them! i'll be seeing dhes today to deliver the baked goods and i'm excited to see her and catch up with her. :)
